Saved my plants during a heatwave when I was out of town.
I loved this product - so easy to use and worked exactly as described. Yes they're fragile - they're made of clay just like a regular pot. Just pre-dig your hole - don't jam them in the ground, they'll break. I used two in per tomato plant and they kept my plants alive during a 111 degree heatwave.

The watering spikes are quite delicate and shatter pretty easily. It works fine as long as you dig the hole and do NOT apply pressure when setting the spike

Works as expected
They seem to working very well. During the hot temperature my flowers sustained their strength and color.One of them broke, even though nothing usual happened to it.

Cuts down on the amount of watering I have to do
Great for when you are traveling. Keeps my plants fresh. Lasts about 2 weeks. I keep them in even when not traveling and add a bucket of water once a week. Works great.

6, not 9 spikes
I’m giving it a one star because there are not 9 like the picture says. This is misleading.But these work well. I live in Texas where it’s over 100 degrees daily. Keeps the garden from drying out while I’m at work.

Great product! Easy To use
I Love These. They are great when your on vacation or away from home - just fill a bottle with water and put in the spike. Your plants stay hydrated. I used empty wine bottles and they look really cute.

May need two per pot
The product works if positioned well, close to the main stem and roots of the plant. It does not stay as damp as I expected.
