Good book, but it arrived dirty and bumped.

An exquisite book and essential reading for the growing numbers of people currently being called to pay heed to the 'voice' of the mysterious yew tree.

Apparently the Yew has good claim to be one of the earliest, perhaps the earliest, tree. Peter Wohlleben and others have recently shown how connected the tree universe is, how resilient their society is, how collaborative they are in allying with other plants, how creative the form has been in 'fitting' its, our, environment - and now how endangered our own activities has made them.Fred Hageneder is my favourite interpreter of tree myth and 'sprituality' and you can feel the passion when he gently rails against our betrayal. 'The Yew' is my favourite tree and book and symbol harbinger.
