Venison jerky
Used 1/2 pack for 5 lbs of jerky. Everyone love the taste I f the venison jerky.

Great Company.
Not a huge Teriyaki taste but it is good. My big problem is one of the packets had a hole in it so there was seasoning all over the other items it shipped with. OK, I am changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Hi Mountain contacted me and because of the packaging issue they are issuing me a 100% refund. I love companies like this. Customer isn't happy and they bend over backwards. I will purchase Hi Mountain products again!

Great seasoning mix
As I mentioned in my review of the Cajun Blend mix, I like spicy foods, but the rest of my family does not. I was hesitant about trying this one, but found it to have a good balance of teriyaki flavor and citrus flavor. This is a good alternative to the traditionally spicy or smoky jerky flavors. Well worth trying!

Makes great jerky
I read other reviews and seemed like several said the jerky was not sweet enough. My first batch I agree. For the next batch I added 1/4 cup Yoshidas gourmet sauce (instead of water)per pound of burger and it is AMAZING. Gave some to several friends and they are now making their own jerky with this mix. Will continue using this in the future. I think deer/elk (and wild goat) jerky was a bit better than beef

Very weak on flavor
Bought jalapeño, and teriyaki, flavor is mediocre and very weak. I won’t be buying this again.

Great kit.
This is a great kit. My family loves jerky. I am the jerky maker. This kit makes it very easy to make. I get compliments every time I make it. Price is reasonable.

Way too expensive
Product is fine price is way higher than anyplace else, my own mistake for not checking, then couldn’t cancel in time or return as it’s a food product. Buyer beware
