Do the 2017 models have threads to mount a tripod adapter?

Hi there! Just got a response from my distributer. Here's what they had to say:“The only Bino that comes with a Tripod Adapter is the Conquest HD 15x56. There is an acc. for the bino’s called Binofix, a universal tripod mount for all models. You also have tripod mounts for HD Bino’s and HT Bino’s. Also, there is a Tripod adapter for the Conquest HD and Terra HD."Hope this helps! Thanks very much and please let me know if you need anything else.

This made in Germany or China?

China, not sure where the lenses were made though ( hopefully Germany) but very happy with them except the Zeiss badge fell off when I initially took them out of the case. So out came the glue to put it back !! This is supposed to be an entry model of Zeiss into the lower end market and costs less than half of the German model but in binocular terms it is still a higher price than the Nikon equivalent, which is also now made in China so no bargain really. Optics are great but would have been a lot happier if I had not had to get the glue out when I opened the case.

I just received a pair of 8x25, and they have no lens caps or eyepiece caps. are all the 8x25 terra ed like mine?

Yep, no lens covers. Matter of fact, I’ve never seen lens covers on compact binoculars with the exception of some 8x25 Cabelas I bought recently, and even then I would never use them. In the past, even the best full size binoculars came with only a rear rainguard, which I would use occasionally. Also, the Zeiss Terra doesn’t have a round objective lens housing, making it mostly incompatible with lens covers. I know, more than you wanted to know when a simple “no” would have sufficed. Just a little history there.
