HIAORS 6 Pin AC CDI Box for GY6 50cc 125cc 150cc Scooter ATV Quad Go Kart

If i could give this CDI a 10 star rating, I would. My scootor was dead, I just bought it and the prevoius owner sold it because he couldn't get it to start. The spark plug, spark plug wire/ignition coil assembly had already been changed. I imagined that if they had changed those parts, they definitly would have changed the CDI too since it's litteraly the cheapest part of the entire ignition system. So i wasted days changing the stator, which was a pain because it is under the flywheel which was stuck on really bad. So after I changed the stator, and it still didn't start I knew that it had to be the CDI. So I purchased this, slapped it on in place of the old CDI, and tested for spark by removing and grounding the spark plug, and then cranking the engine over. To my joy I could see bright blue sparks jumping between the spark plug electrodes, so I screwed the plug back in, sprayed some ether down the carb (the gas is pretty old) and kick started it a few times. It roared to life, and my face was covered in a big grin. I got this 2014, only 1,700 miles scooter for chump change from a neighbor, because he couldn't start it. All because of this eight dollar part. I'm pleased as can be, and highly recommend this CDI to anyone.

Used this to replace failed cdi for a Coleman scooter, the jl50-qt14 and it works just like oem.

she worked great, controlled spark and timing as expected, although we slapped it on an XR50 rather than the engines listed, she still got our rusty ol girl sparkin and fired up
