flawed.
Odd that a toolbox would not have a place to store a drill. The top compartment is too small to hold most drills (if you want to close the top lid. Seems like a design flaw to me.

The perfect top box!
I was totally shocked at how well this box is constructed. It is beautiful, sturdy, pleasing to the eye, and the fit is exquisite. The wood top is icing on the cake. Totally recommend it to anyone looking for a box that could cost 3 times more, and not equal the build of this unit. I am a believer in this company. I will purchase more of their goodies in the future. Shipping was lightning fast.

awesome toolbox. bigger than it looks. high quality.
I've had this on my wishlist for awhile and finally bought it for my son as his first toolbox. It's very large, straight, clean, heavy duty. better than i had hoped. the maple top is gorgeous. I plan on getting one for myself. The drawers slide out smooth and straight, and pop in when they're closed so they don't slide open if the box is tilted forward. The lid support hinges are very light duty and will likely need to be replaced. since one end is riveted in they'll have to be drilled out first. For the price, i'm ok with that.

Potential for it to topple forward when rolling it. Cr@p sliders an locks
Pretty box but not really heavy duty. It's great for art supplies but is not good for a pro mechanic with a lot of tools. Good for a hobby mechanic looking to match the other stainless classics. The drawer slides are not heavy duty and will eventually have to be replaced. The key and lock mechanism is ESSENTIAL that it be locked prior to moving the box.I was rolling it and hit a screw the top drawer slide open and the whole box fell forward with all the tool drawers opening and it fell. Damn puzzle to get the drawers out and fix the damage. The wheels also will crack after a few years and need to be replaced.

High quality, very functional....
Honestly for the price this is the best tool box out there. It even comes with rubber mats. For anyone looking to organize their tools and have the box not look like something from a mechanic shop this is the beez kneez/

Good Looks, Solid Construction
I was a little disappointed that only the drawers had a natural metal finish, would have preferred a clear powder coat over plain steel over the gray. Nevertheless it's good enough looking to keep inside the house where I need it. The wooden lid is polished to a mirror finish, and looks almost too perfect. But it is real wood, as some less-shiny parts inside remind me when I feel the grain. The side handles, keys and even a sheet of nice liner material are included inside. The stainless drawer fronts feel thin, but since stainless is stronger than mild steel, that shouldn't be a problem. I'm not going to try to torture test this box because it looks so good, but it feels strong enough to hold together for many years. I got this more for looks, but it's assuring that it's made as well as ugly tool boxes.
