Raw Elements Organic Pink Lip Shimmer Zinc Oxide SPF 30+, 0.15oz

I play a lot of beach volleyball and my lips get burned often. I was looking for a natural lip protection, but was tired of having white lips. I found this pink zinc lip protection, and I love it! I get so many comments on how pretty the color is, and it keeps my lips protected.

I am writing about the pink shade spf 30 lip balm. I have been looking for a tinted non nano and non toxic for me and the planet spf lip product for a long time now. Finally found this product and I am so happy with it. It doesn’t burn or itch the way most I've tried do and it stays on and moisturizes for a looooong time. I LOVE the pink shimmer frost shade and would have chosen it as a lipstick as well. I am convinced it works on any complexion too. The only aspect I would change is the fragrance/flavor. I would prefer a floral option (rose/violet/lavender). The texture seems to be a problem for some but pretty much any seriously non toxic lip product seems to have this issue so I accept it. Just bought a second one for my purse. Curious to find out when I will run out (I wear spf year round daily). Thank you for making this product!

I bought this product because it was SPF 30 and rated highly by EWG and had decent reviews on Amazon. However, I was quite disappointed. Basically, imagine trying to apply sightly waxy chalk to your lips. It was very dry and impossible to apply smoothly, especially if you have any flakes or lines on your lips which it settles into. That means that even when I did apply it, the protection was patchy. In addition, there is an intense white cast but because of the texture, lip color applied over it looked bad as well.

Works great, the texture is just a little off but I'm using it anyway!

Was very excited to try this product, with its low EWG rating (1), high SPF rating (for a lip balm), 100% mineral sunscreen content, and reasonable price per unit (compared to similar products), but it unfortunately didn’t wow me. The lip balm is thick and does leave a white cast (as mineral sunscreens should), but it’s not nearly as bad as other reviewers have made it out to be and not why I docked stars. The smell, on the other hand, is VERY strong and off-putting. You should make sure you really like the scent of hemp seed oil — or at least can stand it lingering on your lips — before you buy this. I can’t stand having this on my lips but, because I hate wasting product, will likely use this as a portable stick sunscreen until it runs out, after which I will not be re-purchasing.

I had to buy this product twice. The first time, what I received what expired. It was crumbly and difficult to use. The second time, I ordered from a different seller (My Happy Home) and what I received was A) not expired! and B) much easier to use. It glides on nicely. I'm sure if you cake it on it might appear whiteish, but if you apply lightly and rub your lips together I don't think it's noticeable at all. I can't say I've had a chance to test its protectiveness -- I don't think my lips have ever gotten burned, as far as I know -- but it seems like a good product so far!

This lip gloss is one of the only ones that has zinc oxide-based sunscreen. It is a nice color and has no chemical aftertaste like other lip sunscreens. Highly recommend!

Not as good. Seems the formula has changed. This is not the white zinc oxide I have been buying for years. Feels like chapstick. Does not coat my lips. Is the original still available? If not time to find another brand. I use this for sun protection not as a cosmetic.

Mi ha deluso. Troppo pastoso. Non rende le labbra carine. Non lo riacquisterei.
