I have been using cheap and mid-priced nylon toiletry bags for years in my world travels. Almost all of these bags suffer the same fate: they fall apart, or look too nasty to warrant further use. Time to step up the game and buy an adult's toiletry bag.Overall, I am very pleased with this bag. It is well-made, has smaller compartments for things like Q-tips and nail clippers, and is very roomy yet doesn't take up too much space in the suitcase. In addition, this bag just screams style and class, even when it is sitting next to the sink at a Motel 6. As this bag ages, the worn look will only add character, and should last for a few generations.I had no problem paying the premium for a real leather bag, as I am only planning on buying it once for this lifetime.5/2022 Edit: I have traveled the world with this bag, taken it on military deployment, tossed it into the locker and trunk hundreds of times to go to the gym, had a bottle of gold bond explode in it, and it cleans up easily and still looks fantastic.

I bought two of these toiletry bags as Christmas presents for my two sons who travel for business. Most impressive and may have to get myself one once my current toiletry bag dies completely. It screams value, something rare in today's cost cutting product manufacturing, especially where bean counters are involved and the stockholder is king, not the consumer.This is one of those purchases that you will feel as if you have invested in high quality. It is constructed in such a way that the user will get years of solid, uncompromising use out of it. It is a little on the large side so the user may want to figure out how to incorporate other items into the bag that once were packed loosely in the overall luggage space. The main compartment holds open by itself which is a great feature when digging into the cavernous (for most...) top compartment. It is built like the proverbial brick schitte house.

I purchased the black leather toiletry bag for my brother for a Christmas present this year. He has been travelling a lot recently with no container to put all of his toiletries. I purchased a toiletry bag for my other brother years ago which had the wide framed opening; that's the only way to go. The bag stays open because of the full metal framed opening. Once you snap it shut, the zipper closes the bag shut. It is a good-sized bag and can even hold large mouthwash bottles. There is also a secret zippered compartment on the bottom to hold smaller items separately like combs, brushes, razors and clippers. He loved it and immediately loaded it up with his toiletries for his trip back home.

I've looked and looked for a very sturdy shaving kit like this and I have spent years overseas in the Middle East looking for one like this. One bag that doesn't get destroyed in the luggage during flights. This means your items are not damaged ! Everything it advertises is TRUE ! It is much bigger than most other shaving kits, yes, but so sturdy and tough, that you will get over the size of it ! The price is perfect too ! I've paid more for smaller, much much more flimsy kits than this, and had my things destroyed because of it ! WELL worth the money ! Thank You !

I got this for my husband for Christmas over a year ago, and it has held up really well (and he's REALLY hard on things, so that's saying something). He really liked the zippered bottom that has travel sized toiletry cases, those made it easy on him for traveling without having to bring his full sized body wash, etc.

I recently purchased a toiletry bag similar to this online at Macy's and was disappointed at the lack of quality. This one is truly real leather... The toiletry bag is a bit bigger than I expected but I don't think my boyfriend will mind that since he does travel quite a bit. I like that there is a separate compartment on the bottom... that was a requested feature by its recipient so I am sure he will be pleased... not easy to find this!

Pros:-Extremely good looking, durable, quality.-quality leather and smell.-CleanCons:-Bulky without storing much-Not enough storage-One zipper to fold closed wastes A LOT of space.-needs storage for tiny things like fingernail clippers and stuff. One large compartment for everything. Little stuff falls out of mesh pockets.Conclusion: takes up too much space in suitcase. I'll stick to zip lock bags. If I buy again. Find one with two zippers atop to avoid folding zipper. Find one with zipped pockets inside. Even still.... Ziplock baggies are cleaner and can be packed in little spaces. I'd just as well use them for travel.

I ordered this to replace one I have had for 21 years. It was getting wore out, and on my last trip the zipper broke off. Hate to see it go, it's been on many vacations, and business trips.I took this out of the box and was happy to see it really was real leather, kind of stiff which is good because it is leather, may even consider using some oil on it to keep it from cracking. Same amount of room as my old one with three added pockets, and same style of liner. Great price very pleased.
