This thing is simply awesome, the attention to details and look and feel of the book are OUTSTANDING!!! Size, content and appearance are spot on to the movies. Can’t attest to the durability yet but it seems to be well constructed. The only flaw I could site would be the binder fabric being visible on the first and last page, very minor issue overall especially when you look at the book overall. I paid $170 with shipping ect and am fully satisfied, I was worried about being happy with the product vs the cost but it was well worth it. This book will draw your attention and make you go WOW, even if you’re not an Evil Dead fan. For a fan it’s an eye opener when you first hold it and open it up.

This was for my birthday present this year and happened to coincide with the Evil Dead Rise trailers to equal a fun and awesome purchase. So so worth the money. The new movie trailers being on TV lead to my kids being slack jawed when I opened this and I was just as impressed to be honest. The work that went into this book is literally palpable in the exact way you want it to be. I'm looking to run an Evil Dead D&D campaign and having this as a prop for that is ridiculously immersive especially since my group aren't horror people. Summary I am overjoyed with my present, if you love someone who loves Evil Dead get them this. If it's you get you this. After watching Rise, Halloween should make sitting outside dressed as the Mom with this a pretty fun night. Kanda....

Shop smart. Shop Smart ... or in this case, shop Dead Dave's. Nice replica and the finishing touches (burnt page edges, etc.) show a dedication to his art. My only "complaint" might be that the pages are a little too wrinkled -- like they were each wadded up for the circular file, recovered, and then placed into the book. The paper has a nice feel to it and I'm sure time will smooth them out a bit.

Necronomicon Ex Mortis - Finally I have one, it only took 30 years. This is a must for any Evil Dead fan. I've been a fan for decades and always wanted this. The books cover is amazing, not to mention hideous. The art work inside is incredible. The special touch is the edge of the pages are burnt, which gives it a slight burnt smell when you open it. Like the book actually came from hell. To sum it up, this book is GROOVY!

This is my second one I’ve purchased. Got my daughter into the almighty Evil Dead franchise. The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness, Ash vs The Evil Dead, The Evil Dead (2013 reboot), and Evil Dead Rise. She’s becoming a horror movie addict like me lol. Her birthday is coming up, so naturally had to get her one. Excellently made, pages feel “worn”, cover feels great, and just an overall fantastic addition to any Evil Dead collection or Evil Dead Uber fan.

This will be a gift for our son for Christmas. He is a huge horror fan and was going to buy one of the cheap $30-50 books. I helped him research and look at pics when he realized they were nothing more than a plastic book on laminated pages. He found this one and said he HAD to have it. He put it on his Christmas Amazon wish list and I’m happy he decided on this one. The quality is fantastic and it looks like the real deal! Thanks so much…he’s gonna freak when he opens for Christmas. :)

This is a Christmas present for my dad and it came out absolutely perfect. Tempted to buy one for my personal collection. Screw all that production made crap this is a must piece for any evil dead fan.

My son is really into the horror genre and I thought this would be an excellent gift for his birthday. I was skeptical on the price but decided to take a chance based off other reviews and pictures. Well I received the book and let me tell this book was worth the price. Thinking about getting one for myself. My son absolutely loves it and will put it on a special display in his room. Really cool looking and the pages really give it that extra touch to it.
