Comfortable with a strong line
I needed fine-point pens for my job, and the ones provided had slim barrels, which I find uncomfortable. These are so handy, and I don't have to keep multiple pens scattered on my desk to change colors if necessary. They are very sturdy. The ink flow is steady and strong.

Multi-pen body; easily fillable and interchangeable pen
This is a great pen. Unlike the childhood 4 barrel white and blue plastic pen, this is a little slimmer, and allows you to select the colors that you want to use. I purchased the Hi-Tec C Coleto Gel Ink Pen Cartridge 0.5 mm 15-set for ~$20. This gives me 15 different colors to choose from and I can switch them out whenever I want. As I'm an avid believer of taking notes and having this pen lets me have multiple colors without having to carry multiple pens. Every color that I've tried out so far is great. I love the slim feel of the body, as well as the smooth writing. I've tested with both Moleskin and Leuchtturm1917 and they work quite well.

Cannot go to work without this pen
I have been using the Pilot Multi-Pen, Hi-Tec-C Coleto 1000 for years in my job as a nurse, and it has truly been a game-changer for my charting tasks.Pros:• Versatile Multi-Pen: This pen allows me to switch between different ink colors quickly, which is incredibly useful for color-coding my notes and charts.• Precise Writing: The 0.3mm size ink is perfect for fine, detailed writing. It helps keep my notes clear and legible, even in small spaces.• Customizable: I love that I can customize the pen with different ink colors and sizes. This flexibility means I can tailor it to my exact needs.• Comfortable to Use: The design is ergonomic and comfortable for long periods of writing, which is essential for my long shifts.• Reliable Performance: Over the years, I’ve found this pen to be consistently reliable. It writes smoothly without skipping or blotching.Cons:• Ink Capacity: The ink cartridges are small, so they need to be replaced fairly often with heavy use.• Price: It’s a bit more expensive than standard pens, but the quality and convenience justify the cost.Overall, the Pilot Multi-Pen, Hi-Tec-C Coleto 1000 has made my charting life so much easier. I can’t go to work without one. If you’re looking for a high-quality, customizable pen for precise writing tasks, I highly recommend it!

Better than the 5-unit body!
This 4-unit multi-pen body was purchased as a replacement for a defective 5-unit body. This model is slimmer, but importantly is stronger in design. The 5-unit model had a thin and brittle transparent plastic mid-section that shattered. This 4-unit model is made of the normal opaque and heavy duty plastic that I expect will prove more durable. I no longer need the fifth unit as I’m retired and grade no more papers. As a musician, having both a pencil and eraser unit in the pen is critical, the ink pen is for signatures. As an older person, I wish the pencil unit took 0.9 mm leads for visibility and legibility, but softer 0.5 mm leads are my workaround. The sleek all-black 4-unit body is better looking than the 5-unit mixed-plastics model too! I could move to a 3-unit body if that allowed a 0.9 mm pencil unit to be produced! My only complaint about both pen bodies is that the selected unit sometimes retracts unexpectedly while writing. That may be more an issue with the refill design rather than the body.

One tiny annoyance in an otherwise great pen
I have the dumbest annoyance with this pen. I love everything about it except for one tiny thing, but for me it's a deal breaker. When you have one of the inks down and you're writing with it, the tip of the pen is ever so slightly skewed to one side, because the pen inks have to bend in order for there to be multiple colors within the pen body. I assume if you're someone who likes this type of multicolor pen, this is something you're probably familiar with and maybe do not mind. But for me, it really ruined the experience of writing with the pen. That being said, everything else about the pen is great! The grip is nice, smooth textured and easy to hold. I would prefer a slightly skinnier grip, but considering that there are 4 different inks inside the pen the size of it is based on that and it's a lot skinnier than other pens I've seen with multiple inks. The mechanism to swap the inks out is really great, seems sturdy and unlikely to break and feels good. No fiddly messing around with unscrewing something or anything like that, just snap open the top and push your inks in and you're good to go. Switching between colors feels good, though sometimes if you don't push a new color down just right it doesn't stick on the first try. All in all I would absolutely love this pen, if only the tip would be centered when you go to write with it.

Beautiful Pen *body only* to go with my Pilot Hi-Tech C Coleto refill
My husband took a recent trip to Japan and brought back some pens back. I soon realized that they were in fact just the pen bodies without the ink, so I went on Amazon to look up for refills. I was so in love with this style of pen that I started looking for more bodies to put my extra Pilot Hi-Tech C Coleto refills in.I LOVE the color of this pen. Very pretty pink, comfortable to hold and have had no issues so far. My only complain is the price. It is my opinion that is a little bit overpriced but other than that, Im happy with this pen body, the color, confort.DOES NOT COME WITH THE INK

Great pen body, better than previous models!
Great upgrade to the previous body styles! This body has a button to open the top of the pen to add the refills which previous styles did not have. I hope this button will prevent the cap from breaking off as has been the case for 2 other Coletos i owned. They also got rid of the rubber grip which in my opinion is a good choice since the rubber has always worn off for me and quickly becomes a nuisance! Cant think of anything wrong with this body, has been improved in all aspects and the finish on the pen is a nice touch.

I love that this body is thin and great for gripping ...
I've now had this pen for 8 months. I love that this body is thin and great for gripping and writing. I use both 0.3 and 0.4mm ink refills simultaneously. The metallic pen clip has broken and the cap that holds the ink in has also broken. The rubber grip bubbles and peels. So although it's nice for color it is not sturdy and will not last long.
