Finally something that helps over patches stay in place the full 10 days!
I wear a Dexcom G7 and use these adhesive wipes before attaching the G7 and the clear over patches so they adhere to my arm the full 10 days. I put on a vinyl glove, swipe the wipe on my arm, wait about 10 seconds until my skin is "tacky" and attach the G7 and the over patch. I swim a lot during the summer and these adhesive wipes ensure the over patches stay in place. A great price for a great product!

Use gloves when you use it
This is to remove things like a CGM and the adhesive sticker you put on top of it. This works better than baby oil, and is apparently nicer than just acetone (nail polish remover) for the incredibly strong adhesive that go on top of CGM (see my other reviews), especially when using Skin Tac before installing the CGM and the adhesive. I recommend to use one throw-away glove (cheapest/thinnest is great), as with the gloves you can feel (cold) the parts of the compress that still have the product, and you don't waste any on your skin. Also no matter what these are nasty chemicals. You are getting some on your arm, no need to have them on your fingers. And last, the adhesive patches are sticky when this gets their glue to stop sticking to your arm, but they will still stick to your fingers. Procedure, start at any place where the adhesive is already a bit peeled from the skin, then wipe back and forth while pulling the adhesive away from the skin. Goal: get some of that liquid at the interface skin/adhesive. Be patient but go fast as these evaporate super fast. Unfold and use different parts of each pad before it's useless. I often need 2 of these to get rid of the full adhesive pad and the CGM (and wipe any side sticky/dirty ring on the skin around the patch. It IS worth the cost, like adhesive patches are. Patches to not waste an expensive CGM, and this to make removal simple and "fast enough". Even with experience, you might spend 3-5 minutes on this. With the Skin Tac (same brans, opposite function) Use: getting a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) Libre 3 to stick well for 14 days. - for one arm (alternate) wash the skin with soap and water. A larger area than you think you will need. - rinse it very well. - really really well. Soap residue won't help with anything - dry it - use some alcohol wipe for roughly where you will place the device (and break the skin barrier). - let it fully dry. Don't use anything to touch your skin, just let it dry. - wear some gloves (throw away, cheapest possible), open a packet and apply the compress where your CGM and where the wider sticker will go. - let it dry, throw the glove and compress to the trash (you can fold the compress inside the glove when removing the glove. - apply the CGM - apply the adhesive patch made for the CGM (see my other reviews) - don't clean/have a shower for 12 hours, and this will stick super well.

Good adhesion
These wipes are effective. I do active water aerobics x3 week, and I have no problem with adhesion of the patch.

Helps Keep Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitor + Insulin Pump Stuck to Your Skin
I use these wipes for extra stickiness with my Dexcom G4 Platinum Continuous Glucose Monitor. It is also helpful for insulin pump site changes. The extra adhesive keeps them stuck to my skin longer and better. In the Dexcom's case, I usually wear each sensor 14 days. I've never tried to wear a sensor longer as it gets less accurate towards the end of week 2. If you sweat or swim, or notice your adhesive rolling up at the edges or getting bubbles this adhesive stops most of it. I've sweated insulin pump sites right off my body! So, this extra step seems to make the biggest difference. Instead of wiping this adhesive onto my skin then proceeding with the site change as usual, I wipe the adhesive directly onto the sticky side of the sensor/site change (rub it onto the side that sticks to your body). Then, after everything is inserted, I wipe more adhesive onto the papery outside of the sensor/site change and some gets on my skin too. I learned this trick from Karri Sparling's diabetic blog, SixUntilMe. Sparling has a video demonstration using these adhesive wipes while changing an old Dexcom CGM and it helped me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nb-3TeVS5MQ&list=TL3NCySIkHUyDtq7ssWaRWinzK-uTORxw4 The adhesive makes anything it touches very sticky, so I wondered if any needle might get stuck going through it, so I researched it and found the blog. I add one step Sparling doesn't do: after everything is stuck on me, I cover the sensor with IV3000 tape (I cut a hold in the center for the transmitter is free and my insulin pump tubing can be removed). The IV3000 tape cover any sticky skin so your clothing won't stick your skin. Plus, the tape reinforces the site area from peeling or bubbling up. I don't use their special adhesive remover, but you need something because if you just rip your sensor off several layers of skin come with it and you will have a bright red mark! The adhesive remover that works for me is Rubbing Alcohol which is cheap and you already have it in alcohol wipes. In a pinch, fingernail polish remover on a cotton ball works well too.

My Little Patch's Best Friend!
As someone who relies on the Libre 3 Glucose patch, finding a way to keep it secure for the full two weeks has been a game-changer, and these Skin-Tac™ Adhesive Barrier Wipes are absolutely essential! Before I found these, I was constantly worrying about my patch coming loose, especially after showering or during active days. Now, with a quick swipe of one of these wipes before applying my sensor, it stays put for the entire duration, no questions asked. Pros: Unbeatable Adhesion: Seriously, this is the main event. My Libre 3 patch is rock solid for the full 14 days. I've gone swimming, worked out, and taken countless showers, and it hasn't budged. Easy to Use: The individual wipes are super convenient. Just tear one open, wipe the area, let it get a little tacky, and apply your patch. It's a simple extra step that makes a huge difference. Gentle on Skin: I have fairly sensitive skin, and I haven't experienced any irritation or redness from using these. They create a nice barrier that seems to protect my skin from the patch's adhesive too. Peace of Mind: This is probably the biggest pro for me. Not having to constantly check or worry about my glucose sensor falling off is invaluable. Cons: A Little Sticky: After applying, the area around the patch can feel a bit sticky for a while. It's not a huge deal, and it does eventually fade, but it's something to be aware of. Residue: Sometimes, when I remove the patch after two weeks, there's a slight sticky residue left behind from the Skin-Tac. It comes off easily with a little rubbing alcohol or adhesive remover, but it's an extra step. Overall, if you use any kind of adhesive medical device, especially a glucose sensor like the Libre 3, these Skin-Tac™ Adhesive Barrier Wipes are a must-have. They provide incredible security and peace of mind, making your device much more reliable. The minor stickiness and residue are easily outweighed by the benefits. Hope this helps!
