XCape Cap Maglite C or D Flashlight Bezel Upgrade Red

Excellent Tactical Bezel upgrade. I realize this bezel is really a type of deterrent type of attachment that could be used in self defense using the flashlight as a weapon. I bought it for decoration, and allow the flashlight to be able to stand on a flat surface and give off some light near to it.This bezel unit is very easy to change. I bought its own O-Ring to avoid having to remove the original one from the original bezel. Simply unscrew the old bezel taking car about the acrylic window and the reflector. Take care to not have dust go on to the inner surface of the acrylic window and the reflector. Dust particles will easily show up on lit surfaces. When screwing on the new bezel take care to get the threads properly seated to avoid cross threading the bezel or the flashlight head unit. Before installing the new one I put on a very thin coating of Vaseline. This makes for making the threading work easier and helps for keeping out moisture. I also put a thin coating of Vaseline in to the O-Ring.This Bezel unit turned out to exactly match the color and texture of finish of the flashlight. Well made and of good quality build.

A word of caution though... this thing will do some damage... it's sharp (as it should be for the intended purpose) and it looks fantastic. Check out their web site... their "Billet Striker" is the perfect base to compliment this item.

Fits great. The edges are sharp. Stupid sharp. It will probably cut your finder or scrape your leg. For the love of all don't drop it on your toe it will separate from our body. Thinking it will aluminate the area when it's face down won't really happen. It's dark everywhere except stupid bright right by the light. But it's ok. This successfully turns a maglite into a deadly weapon.

I’m super modifying my 6 cell maglight. This is step 1, I’m glad it was in red (the anodizing matched perfectly).

As well built with a snug fit as the Mag-Lite is. Currently installed for many months now with no issues whatsoever
