Prevacid 24HR, Lansoprazole Delayed-Release Capsules 15 mg, Acid Reducer, Clinically Proven, Treats Frequent Heartburn, 14 Count

I take Prevacid as prescribed by my physician instead of the prescription equivalant of proton pump inhibiter, Protonix. I have found that buying it online from Amazon has cut my cost in half. If I went to a warehouse club or a major drug chain the price can be double the cost (even with coupons.) As far as the symptoms it has cleared up my esophogitis that was discovered during a recent upper endoscopy. It is a drug that I will have to take the rest of my life and at its lower cost, (for those of you that are on a medicare prescription drug plan) may help to keep you out of the donut hole if you require a lot of prescription drugs. Because I am not a physician, my advice is to check with your physician before starting Prevacid for long term treatment. Be careful to not purchase too many boxes in advance. Some of the pricing is probably because the expiration date is sometimes as short as 2 months which probably accounts lower pricing on the product from some of the suppliers. I have also found that the lower priced quantities are very limited which will increase your cost because you may have only 1 box available (when it shows 3) and the shipping on a single box may cost more than the Prevacid.

I use this product when needed and it gives almost instant relief. Along with proper diet can save a lot of pain. I use the acid and alkaline diet. (no I am not a doctor so I can't prescribe this diet) but it is healthy and please check with doctor before using. It just takes a bit of research online to find it.

I have to take this daily as I have Barretts Esophagus. This is the ONLY product that works for me, Nexuim just doesn't work for me at all! I am SO glad this is not longer a prescription only medication as now it's much more affordable for those who need it daily.

I took this at the suggestion of a doctor. I don't suffer from frequent heartburn or acid but he suggested it may help with sleep apnea as there is some evidence that it may have some links. I didn't find that it did anything for that so I stopped.
