Its Cheap but works
It is a bit flimsy, but it has been working fine on my pool. I can't complain for the price.

Itโs cheap in quality.
Spend a little more and buy one of better quality. Itโs cheaply made, the metal poles are thin and bend easily and the plastic portion isnโt strong at all. Thought Iโd save a few bucks with this but wound up spending more to buy a better one after this failed after a month.

I really like these steps-made it 6 full seasons
I really like these steps. It helps that I picked them up from Amazon Warehouse for $28 but they work great, seem sturdy enough and look good. You do have to drill 1 1/2" holes for the handle ends to go through but with the flanges they are strong. I did spread out the handles where they go through the deck to make the space a little wider which helps. I also put a 9x36 mat under the bottom to avoid any tearing of the liner although the bottom step is completely smooth. Just didn't want to risk a tear. Update 6/3/2017: On our second season with these steps and they are working great. Update 5/16/2022: They lasted through 6 seasons without a problem. Sadly I broke the nub on one side where the handle attaches to the steps while setting them up this year. Hint-turn off your pump while installing so you're not fighting the water pressure. I got rushed and forgot. I did attempt a repair so we'll see if it holds. I did buy a new set just in case. Still, very durable. They were used heavily and by some pretty stout people.

Decent for the price
This ladder was our first deck attached ladder. We purchased it because it was cheap. We will keep it until it breaks and then probably purchase one a little more sturdy. I dont see this ladder being a permanent ladder because it is pretty flimsy. It is perfect for my girls age 10 and 6. We followed advise and purchased the metal rings to drive to the deck instead of use the plastic ones that came with it. That was a good idea! Hopefully this ladder will last two years for us.

This is not a good ladder had to replace the holders with better ones so it would be sturdy also it is to close to the pool wall would not recommend

Not just for swimming pools!
I looked long and hard to find a ladder to put in my gooseneck horse trailer for easy access to the front overhead area. This ladder is perfect! It was easy to assemble and light weight. Sturdy, yet easy to hacksaw 8 inches off the curve at the top for the ladder to set at a comfortable, secure angle. (I also bought rubber end protectors for those.) I am up and down this ladder at every horseshow to get saddle pads, hat boxes, and boots. The convenience makes a world of difference, however, duly note in this application, I only weigh 115# and at the angle it does slightly flex. I am a happy cowgirl!

Definitely try a different ladder!
This thing is terrible! The bottom step just wants to detach and float to the top. There's no hardware included. I finally had to hot glue the bottom step onto the balls and drill holes in it to fill with water, so it'd stop trying to float up. Its still pretty un sturdy though

Cheaply made
Broke after 4 uses. The ladder buckled where the aluminum arm meets the plastic.

Four Stars
It is good so far for what we needed it for. A little wobbly so I hope it lasts.

Great Pool ladder ๐ช
The latter looks and works great. My concern was the height of my pool deck. I took my time on placement and distance. Not rust and no issues with weights .
