the granddaughters giggle, giggle and giggle some more
my g-daughters are both under three. these swords are not as long as they look, are very light and very reasonably priced. the girls have watched some sort of barbie movie and love to say "all for one and one for all". they giggle continuously when they play with their g-pa, whether he has build a castle of pillows or is a flying dragon. they are into imagination and the annimated movie brave, tangled and all types of princess power. it was an excellent purchase because what they had been substituting as swords (on their own) before where heavy, awkward and, I felt, a bit dangerous. I was forced to play the party pooper. Now, I delight in their shear joy of imaginative play.

Mailed in plastic bag and mangled in my mailbox
Hi Folks,This is a cute and safe toy as described, but the end of the sword was permanently bent. It was shoved in my mailbox, which wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't packaged in a plastic bag. My 4 1/2 year old was upset that the toy he was jumping up and down to receive was defective. He said, "Mommy, but it is broken" and pointed to the end. The poor guy. He uses it anyway, but I would of never had ordered something if I knew the packaging would be inappropriate for the item! It's bad enough I pay for Amazon Prime and that did not pay for shipping. But, then I paid on top of that for shipping and it was messed up during mailing it. Disappointed.

Surprisingly well made!
Ok first there is almost no way your kid can hurt themselves, or others with this. Its soft and light and hte hardest part is the handle, which your kid is going to be holding, not hitting other kids with. I expected theis thing to wobble around like string cheese but it actually stays preety rigid when swinging it around. The coloring is a bit goofy but heck its a foam sword so I guess its never going to make your kid look ferocious anyway. Really impressed with how its held up and is just right for lettign lil kids, (or big)swashbuckle in the backyard.

Alot of fun for kids
My cousins and I actually had some fun with these. I played with them and I actually had a lot of fun. They aren't too floppy. They're actually pretty hard, but not hard enough to hurt anyone. Good swords, you'll enjoy these.

He Loves It
Like many boys his age, my son is just getting into pirates and play fighting. He's 3 so we have to be careful what he uses to play these games. I bought two of these swords as a Christmas present and he loves them. They are light, durable and feed his imagination. I also don't have to worry about him getting hurt or hurting me!

Great! Durable and has held up well!
We had other swords that were longer. They bent and did not last very long. These are the perfect length and given the length of the wooden dowel inside, they are far more durable. My son and husband are having a good time using these.

One Star
These only lasted about 30 minutes. Purchased 2 and they both broke.

My son loves them
My son is in a power ranger phase. These are great because they don't hurt as much when you get hit with them. Very durable.
