Excellent taste and quality taste like maple syrup

After avoiding wheat based pancakes fro several years to avoid raising my blood sugar unnecessarily, I found some wheat-free pancakes to try (covered in a separate review). But I needed to find a syrup to complement the pancakes. I decided to give the Walden Farms Calorie Free pancake syrup a try. The syrup has a great maple flavor. I would describe the flavor as consistent with an average grade syrup made from real maple trees. Sadly, it doesn't measure up to the flavor of a top quality real maple syrup. But it is probably about as good as I would ever expect to have in a zero calorie syrup. As for consistency, it is about as thin as a hot maple syrup, even at room temperature. You aren't going to fool any spouses or friends into thinking that it is real maple syrup. But you will be able to eat it with your wheat-free pancakes and treat your mouth to great flavors, while fooling your body into a stable blood sugar. Bon appetit!

This brand is the only diet pancake syrup I will use. I prefer it more than regular pancake syrup. Tastes great without the guilt.

So I'm on the keto diet and decided to give this stuff a try because a friend of mine recommended it. It does taste comparable to other sugar free syrups (I want to try their other flavors too especially the chocolate for coffees) And I did enjoy it. My only complaints were this: when removing the plastic seal over the cap, it was leaking a little under the cap. I decided to still try it since the outside if the seal was on wet. I assume it just leaked out and nothing got IN. Second, I'm not a huge fan of the cloudiness of the syrup. I suppose it is what it is, it tastes good! Will be trying different flavors and hope they come up with more in the mean time!

This was open, the seal was punchered. The syrup was all over the plastic wrap. I can take pictures or send it back. Please let me know what I need to do. Thank you

This is a delicious sugarfree syrup that could be used in place of syrup in cooking or at the table. I love it!

This is a good syrup but the ingredients listed are incorrect. Contains sucralose. If you don't eat it just be aware of that.

Taste good but not sure if it healthy

Sabe a sirope, y no tiene calorías. No sé con que lo hacen, pero desde luego cumple con lo que prometen. La única diferencia con el original es el espesor, pero sobre la comida caliente (tortitas de proteinas) o en los batidos ni se nota. Muy buen sabor, no empalaga.

This pancake syrup is good, very sweet and, as others have said, it has an aftertaste. However for 0 calories it is worth putting up with the aftertaste as it certainly livens up ice cream and i should imagine anything else you care to put it on or in. These products are a big help to anyone who has issues with portion control, as a little of them goes a long way and suppresses the urge to overeat because they are very sweet and do not induce the guilt you might get from eating full fat, high sugar similar products. Well worth trying. Hope you enjoy them and find some that are a real help to you.
