Great product

I have been trying tons of different pomades and clays lately. I began using Murrays years ago and have always used it. I personally love it. I love the hold and it doesn't bother me that it is nearly impossible to remove but I thought it was time to try to find something better for my hair as Murrays tends to dry out my hair and scalp. I have tried Baxter clay pomade. Liked it, would keep using it if it weren't for the price, but still thought I could find something better. Tried Imperial Classic Pomade but i honestly hate it. Smells like candy and goes in and looks like gel. Tried LS&B and it holds well but just too matte/dry looking for my taste. Shiner Psycho Hold Pomade is good, but still doesn't quite have the hold I am looking for. Then I tried this. Smells good. Goes in somewhat too easily but it dries within about a minute and then you get the good hold to achieve the desired look with, and once it is in it keeps a pretty good shine for the day. Not as much shine as a pomade, but close. My search for my favorite hair product is not over, but for now this is my go-to.

My mother and brother are both barbers and sell this stuff. I buy it here when I can't get a hold of them or don't feel like bothering them. It's the best hands down. I've used many many products. Shiner Gold is matte and won't be greasy. I have very thick black hair, and nothing keeps it in place except this stuff. And, if you re-wet your hair it resets and holds where you place it. You only need a very small amount, about a penny's size. I can make this can last about 4 months sharing it with two boys. Best applied when your hair is almost dry.

Great product, smells really good and it tame my flyout hair. When you wash your hair does not leave any kind of residue or greasy leftover. Your hair looks clean. If you apply too much it might make your hair look little brown when wearing it. After you wash your hair it is gone. If during the day you get some hair going out of place you can damp your hair a little and rework it. Another great thing of this product is that is not drying for your hair and your hair does not look shinny and fake wearing it. It looks like you are not wearing anything but your hair stays in place. Product is very thick and you have to work it on your hands a little, it sets right away on hair just comb it a little. I got long time with it and still have a half available on the jar. Will definitely buy it again and recommend it to anyone.

Love the smell. Kind of deep coconut. It holds well and not greasy. I am definitely buying more.

I switched to this from Kevin Murphy and Oribe and I’ll never go back. Great, flexible hold. Doesn’t make my hair crazy curly when applied wet like the other pastes I’ve tried. Big fan

This is a really good product, I use it on clients in my barbershop all day everyday. This kinda seems different to what I usually get in Shiner Gold though, I’ve always been used to the whiter creamier version so they must have changed it recently? Either that or this is fake 😂

La cera es muy buena, pero si buscas fijación en tu peinado no es la recomendable, solo le da un acabado mate al cabello y un peinado natural

Finally - a hair paste that is super easy to apply, smells great, and has a good level of hold! I find I'm using a bit more product than my old clay but this is only a minor gripe. Based on current use I predict the tub will last 6-8 weeks. I have a side part with approx. 4" length hair in front and have had no issues with hold. Typically lasts all day unless I'm exercising a lot. The hold can also lessen in hot weather or lots of sun. Doesn't flake if applied properly. Matte finish if applied to just dried hair and shinier finish if applied to damp/wet hair.

Ich habe schon einige Pomaden durchprobiert. Ich muss sagen, dass die Shiner Gold Clay Pomade bisher die beste ist. Sie lässt sich sehr gut in den Händen verreiben und in die Haare einarbeiten. Das auswaschen der Pomade klappt ohne Probleme. Es bleibt kein "fettartiges" Gefühl in den Haaren hängen. Ebenso ist der Geruch sehr positiv und angenehm. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.
