Make your wife happy with a MIELE
I can talk only for my wife here: She absolutely loves her new MIELE-washer. After having used a BOSCH washer for 7 years she always complained that white clothes would slowly turn into ugly looking and bad smelling rags. Now even those are turning back to white and fresh smelling clothes. So if you want your wife to be happy buy her the MIELE. Yes it costs you some money, but you know "Happy wife, happy life"

Struggling to Compete
I am incredibly disappointed that our new Miele W3038 is not performing to the same standard as our previous compact Miele front-load washing machine. Our old version was approximately 15 yrs old before needing replacement, and it always could handle towels and sheets with ease. The W3038 struggles to adequately spin a full set of queen sheets or towels, often resulting in the need to run a second spin cycle. Even when running a light load, I have noticed the clothing is consistently more damp than with our old machine. The light turns on and off randomly (as is seen in the picture during the spin cycle), potentially indicating wiring or electrical panels may not be up to par; this also occurs in the new partner T8023C dryer. For this price point, I would have hoped our new units would have at least performed as well as 15-yr old appliances.

Good machines.
Great German quality. Wish they would bring their more advanced machines to the US.

It looks like a dolls house size washer
I bought this washer, Miele charged $100 for delivery and $150 for installation with tax etc it was almost $2500. The machine itself is deceptively small. I have a family of 4 and I couldn't even fit a single comforter in the machine. It looks like a dolls house size washer.I bought it because I own other Miele appliances and I had another brand washer break after 3 years. I know Miele does make good appliances but their US customer service is aweful. I called Miele with the brand new machine and asked for a return because it is too small. I called the same day they installed the product. It was brand new and unused. They said any products removed from packaging are subject to a 15% restock fee. But they require their $150 install to be eligible for the warranty, and in doing so removes the brand new washer from the packaging. So buyer beware, if you decide the machine is too small it will cost delivery fee, install fee, plus $300 restock fee. $600 mistake. Miele does not need to nickel and dime customers and if they want to expand their US presence, they need to offer customer service like we expect in the US.

Fav washer!
Love my small machine! Live in the desert (water is at a premium) and this machine is the best, also my third (I build it in so can't move) clothes hung out in the sun and dries in no time, comes out of machine with hardly any moisture!

Purchased by previous Owner/Nightmare to learn to use
Product Miele T1 Stackable Washer/Dryer are very complicated to learn to use. Store selling items have no idea how to operate. After 4 intelligent adults went over a 79 page manual, we called for help. No help available, I ordered repair person @ $125 per hour. Waited 8 days for appointment. The dryer which is what we could not get to work, was NOT the problem. The washing machine needed something in order for dryer to detect correct setting. Yhe washer has a $50 cost to refill their own laundry detergent. Then, in order to receive a copy of paid invoice or receipt for payment via text connection was a nightmare. HORRIBLE customer service. Purchase a different brand W/D that is not complicated. Waste of $6K
