Hand-crafted in Indiana in the heart of Soy country, Middle Davids Artisan candles use 100% botanical soy wax for a safe, clean and green candle experience. Burn time is 65-80 hours, (longer with 2-3 hour burns, trimmed wicks and calm ambient air). Middle Davids was founded in 2002 as the outgrowth of a thirty-plus year hobby by a father and son, both of whose middle names are David. The company is Veteran owned and operated, with management by two U.S. Naval Academy graduates (including the original son/founder) and a West Point Graduate, which gives us no end of fun in the workshop. Candle comes packaged in gloss white paperboard gift box. The gifts of the Magi - this scent evokes an ancient sense of wonder - very reminiscent of high church incense. An extremely precious scent that is difficult to find, poured in a royal deep purple.
