Great product
Take the time to follow all the prep steps. This is a great product. A bit pricey but coverage is good and truly came out looking factory. Dries quickly but I recommend at least 3-4 coats minimum and patience. DON'T RUSH. Sometimes I wish I had put on 5 coats. You will want to let this sit and off gas before re-install, I waited at least two weeks. There were few small scratches during install and on highly touched areas, mostly on the passenger side lol. Very happy with final results. Interior looks fantastic.

Great product
My son bought these and they did a fabulous job or painting his interior of his car. He stripped the inside, cleaned each piece and sprayed. Didnโt take much.

Works great on plastic and leatherette material.
Very high quality paint. I tried to use it on uncoated fabric with the results being satisfactory, but nothing more. This stuff is really worth the money when you treat plastic and leatherette seats. It really restores the luster and gives you your moneyโs worth in that application.

Restores old black plastic to look like new
This SEM paint leaves a smooth black satin finish. I use it to restore many black plastic parts on my old cars.

Expensive but worth it
This is probably my favorite trim and interior paint I've used. As with anything prep is key so scuff with a red scratch bright and clean with rubbing alcohol beforehand. I recommend going with a heavier final coat to achieve a more satin finish. After that The finish is pretty durable. I have several interior pieces resprayed in this. The coverage is good, it is a little expensive but well worth it. I bought three or four cans now over the course of a year restoring my RSX and the color matches no problem.

Read this!!!
Paint is easy to work with. Haven't used adhesion promoter, just a good sanding with 400 to 600 grit sand paper clean well with dish soap then rub down with 50/50 water and rubbing alcohol. No problems at all. I did however have an issue with mineral spirits, and also not counting the mineral spirits but just using a microfiber rag gave my piece static which the paint didn't like. I also sanded through the primer in a few spots but with four coats everything covered up well. I also used low luster sem clear on the 2 pictures (I make and sell on eBay) below. Read the reviews before spraying the clear. Humidity and temperature play a big role for the clear to work or you get a milky white layer and a waste of a lot of time. I however was able to sand lately with 1000 grit sand paper until the milkiness went away then re-coated with clear. Never had any problems with the satin black in any temperature or humidity. It took me a week to figure out the clear situation before I finally read all the reviews. Figured I would mention this since I had such a hard time.

Good product. Quick delivery, Good value. Recommended.
I bought an auto headrest to install on my Scooter seat. Wrong color, oxidized plastic on the junkyard purchase. After soaking it in silicone spray for a few days to soften the plastic, I scrubbed it down twice with Dawn and let it dry then basecoated the plastic covered foam with 3 light coats of primer, ensuring total coverage. Lastly, 5 light coats of SEM Satin Black and let it dry for a week. It looks like a factory backrest. The satin is not glossy nor is it flay black, so it blends well with the leather-ish vinyl seat. Actually it looks brand new. I have heard great things about the durability. We shall see, but I can tell you a dropkick across the garage floor barely scuffed it. You would never know it started life as a puke grey Isuzu Rodeo headrest. Be sure to follow the instructions, especially the bit about several light coats. Do that and people think you actually know what you are doing. Not cheap, but you truly get what you pay for. I don't want to redo this every year.
