Sonya 3.0L Electric Stew Cooker/Claypot STC-30

Love it! This claypot rice cooker is versatile. The brown rice looks very good. I will use it to cook soup tonight too. I think I finally found my forever rice cooker. Highly recommend, very easy to use and easy to clean. Just like any other clay pot , you need to take care of it as expected. Let the pot cool down to room temperature before pouring any water in it to avoid cracking. Zero spill, I put 3 cups of rice grains and 5 cups of filtered water and the rice turned out really fluffy and soap. Perfectly cooked. It only took about 25 mins and it is done. Automatically set it from claypot rice mode to warm mode. It will beep once the pot reaches a temperature where it is ready to cook and then will beep again when it is about to change the mode to warm. I am very happy.

It did the dish I made well. But it is not a slow cooker that you leave all day. It cooks much faster and before it starts it just sits there so what does that mean for the food? Don’t know.Instructions are very difficult to understand. I agree with Rod. I just poked around and luckily got what I needed it to do. I am also with a Masters degree and had a hard time with the directionsBut the results were good. The clean up is super easy. Wish I could do more with it if I understood what the functions actually do and how long to hold the buttons and how many times to push them.

I was looking for a perfect cooker that will allow me for meat cooking.Until I receive Sonya claypot, put all your ingredients inside and power it up for 90mins,You will see the most fresh meat from this claypot!

Soooooooo good! You can use this to cook a more yummy dish than high pressure pot. Very satisfied!
