I wish I had had this years ago! It has made cutting a watermelon a piece of cake! So easy to use and works so good! I no longer have to struggle with cutting one and taking 10 minutes or 15 or even 20. Now it's done in two! Absolutely love this!

It works great. I did have to shimmy it a little to get it to go down instead of just straight pressure but it was still easy to use. Just plan ahead because it opens the watermelon like a flower so make sure there's plenty of counter space around it. I cut the slices in half to make them short and they came out perfect! Everyone loved the size of the slices. This saved a lot of time and mess.

So anytime I see a "As Seen on TV" logo, I'm skeptical. But this thing works absolutely awesome! I don't know if this is common sense, or if it's just because i'm stupid or whatever the case may be, but you do need to cut off the ends of the watermelon before you use this thing, otherwise it won't cut the melon. Because I'm so short and my counters are so tall. I actually have to use a chair to get the leverage to push this watermelon cutter down, But it makes twelve perfectly symmetrical slices plus a little center cone of melon. The blades are sharp enough to go through the melon, but not so sharp that you will cut your fingers on it. It washes off extremely easy and although it doesn't fold up, it lays pretty flat in my cabinet. I highly recommend this product if you are tired of cutting uneven slices of melons.

if you know somebody you like water melon this is the present you should get them. You wont be disappointed. Use it at party cut water melon it will be a lot wow effect. I love this

I was a bit skeptical. Turns out it is incredibly easy to use. I used my forearms on the handles and gently rocked it back and forth to slice with minimal effort or force. We’ll see how long it lasts.

Not really capable of slicing a watermelon. We tried it and returned it real fast.

This tool has literally changed the way I eat melons--for the better. I can eat them in halves, but my GI track would rather I didn't. Now, eat a few slices at a time, and I even often prefer the taste of the slices I pull out of the fridge the next day, or later. BUT, there has to be a way for this item to be made safer. On this one, even the plastic on the handles is sharp. That's a quality issue, but I can see a parent or someone with kids hesitant to have this sat anywhere accessible. It's not immediately obvious which side has the cutting blades, and the other side is sharp, too. It's also awkward to clean. I haven't had problem with rusting or anything, and I'm cutting fruit that's largely water; so, I'm not worried about bacteria or anything. It's just noticeable, easy to miss a little piece of watermelon where some small surface area wasn't well rinsed. This melon cutter fits personal watermelons and cantaloupes with ease. It's also really easy to cut off center, but sometimes I find it easier to store the wedges differing in size. Regardless, I'm really glad I took a chance and bought it.

The product is flimsy. The slicing steel blades started bending from first watermelon, resulting in some very thin and some very fat slices. On third melon, two blades joint from central ring broke, and now the product is useless.

Works great and is easy to use! It’s bigger than I expected, but it still does the job well. Overall, a good purchase.
