how is the back support

Back support is ok. You don't feel that fluffy cushiony feeling, but it is comfortable.

I purchased these chairs as extra seating for kitchen counter. They are rarely used. Also purchased specifically for the size which is narrow. They are a comfortable seat in spite of size. However while they have a wood frame they are not real leather. I would not purchase for heavy use. Just my opinion. They are nice chairs if you want to consider replacing in a few years at this very reasonable price.
