Q: what is the length of the legs -maximum and minimum extension?

It's difficult for me to answer the maximun extension because I don't have the extension with me in the bike I have here. The minimum extension of the leg is 9.5cm (3.75 inches). That's how I have my road bike set right now. This leaves a gap between the floor and the center of the axle of the pedal is 8.5cm (3.35 in) which is the place you should consider. That leaves the bottom of the lever at 6.5cm (2.56 in), my transmission is a Sram Red/Force. As soon as I get the other bike, I will point out how does that go.
