Some picture degradation with this cable (35 feet)
I tested this cable both coiled up and fully extended, near and away from potential sources of interference, with two computers having 1920x1080p monitors. I used a standard-length VGA cable as a reference. This 35-footer introduced some noticeable picture degradation in all cases. A test image 1920x1080 consisting of alternating white and black vertical lines (2-pixel pitch) showed a lot of picture noise when viewing a TN-type LCD monitor at an angle. Relatively little was visible when looking directly at the center of the screen. (Note: it might be possible to remove this noise by adjusting the monitor's synchronization or clock, if it has such a setting. Two of my three screens do - those which are also HDTVs.)My next test was to open a text document and a Windows Explorer window (black text on a white background). The text exhibited dark banding toward the right edge of the windows. Again, this was mostly visible looking off-angle, but was still perceptible at the optimal viewing position. The text was also noticeably blurry at all angles.I did not experience any audio problems at normal volume levels. I also did not test for color fidelity or artifacting, though I did notice that most if not all of the picture noise I saw appeared in white and green test screens, but not blue and red.For all I know, this is the best I can expect from a video cable this long. But this is not good enough for me. Since I do a lot of work with text, I want the clearest picture I can get at full resolution. I will make do with a much shorter length of cable.

Good Cable Good Price
This cable worked great for what I needed it for at the time, can't say as how it would be over the long haul. Since it worked fine out of the package I would assume that it would last a long time in a stationary position but have less life if used in a travel type situation but that applies to most cables that are regularly connected and disconnected and folded.

Great Cable!
I've used this between a laptop and a projector for about 2 months now, and I've had no problems whatsoever. I've used it at 1024x768 and 1280x1024. The cable is nice and flexible. The attached sound cable is a great feature. It has plenty of length to get from one side of your laptop to the other if your headphone and VGA connectors happen to be separated in that way. I definitely highly-recommend this cable!

Works as boot cable for to dual-stream connected monitors that ultimately run from a DisplayPort interface. Without this cable to the auto-switching monitor, I would not see power-on self-test problems on my PC with are initially reported to the VGA port only.

Great option for the laptop
The cable was exactly what I needed to get a better viewing experience from my internet TV provider (Hulu). The cable is a simple plug in at each end and also has the recommended ferrite core. I noticed no noise or distortion in the picture and sound. It was also much less than cables available locally.

VGA signal is good, but audio is terible due to noise from the video signal
This cable is great for a long-haul VGA signal. The cable seems to be well-shielded from the outside with no noticeable noise or signal attenuation in the video signal over the 35ft run.The included audio line, however, is a completely different story. The left and right audio wires share a jacket with the VGA wires and there doesn't seem to be any internal shielding between the audio and video lines. This causes the audio to pick up a LOT of noise from the VGA signal; there's a very noticeable hum, which gets even louder when a brighter picture is sent over VGA (eg a mostly white screen like a web page.)If you need audio to accompany your long VGA run, definitely use a separate, shielded cable or a digital audio signal (if possible) rather than the built-in audio line. A quick glance at other long VGA+audio cables that are out there leads me to believbe that they'll have the same issue.
