YKK Sale Zipper Sliders - YKK #5 Coil Long Pull N/L Color Black - 3 Per Pack

Works great! I used these to repair a #5 YKK zipper pull on my rain jacket. I thought I'd have to have a whole new zipper sewn into my jacket. With these I was just able to remove the broken piece and slide on one of these brand new YKK #5 zipper sliders or "pulls" and it WORKS GREAT!One thing that I also purchased are the little Tandy Leather #5 Zipper Top Stop Brass 10 packs and used one of those tiny stops to make sure the zipper slider doesn't ever pull right off the top of the zipper again. They should sell these as a set!

This slide was described as a two-way, YKK 5C replacement, however, the openings on the side to thread the zipper are narrow. I want to try and pry them open a bit more as I'm concerned it still won't fit correctly. I can't really tell if it's going to work being the zipper is meant to be two-way. These are genuine, high quality YKK brand slides with pulls.

WRONG!! I have a #5 broken coil zipper pull. This is misleading, it does not fit my YKK coil zipper. In addition, it is not a locking pull, which is rather worthless in today's world. What a bunch of crap. Good riddance, return in process. A total waste of my time.Amazon, you should be ashamed to be associated with a company like this.Good news!! I realized I could buy a similar zipper at the fabric store for $2, and just take the puller from the new zipper and place it on the broken one. Which I did, it worked beautifully and was the right price for the job.

Meh, I tried to install one of these on zipper tracks that were missing a zipper. I’m sure it wasn’t the right way to do it, but it opened the zipper up some and then clamped it down on the zipper tracks. It worked fine every time until the zipper needed to hold together the tracks under intense pressure pulling them away from each other. I broke all three zippers.Ended up buying a zipper fixer item on Amazon for around the same price as this. It came with a screw on top to open the zipper, out the tracks in the zipper, screw it down on the tracks, and like magic it worked without the first flaw.

I needed to put a lock on a fabric lunch bag (locked up medication in the fridge). The lunch bag only had one zipper, so I added a second so I could put a little padlock on. Worked great. No sewing required.

zipper pulls are complicated no what you need before you buy.

I ordered this zipper slider, but this is for bags not for cloths, after contact with the owner, they send me another right zipper slider, it works very well on my cloth, thank you very much, very appreciated!

Saved me $150 on a new pair of boots! Easy to install, work really well.

Zippers are ok but does not stay put. I have them on my winter jacket and it keeps sliding down on its own, may be an issue for some just like me.
