Brabantia Clothesline Topspinner 50m + Ground Spike + Cover - Metallic Grey

We really enjoy this clothesline even after 6 months. We use it more and more as the weather gets better. It is just the right height, and rotates if you want to stand in one place while you hang your laundry, you can. It can hold almost 2 loads of a large dryer full! For installation you have to dig a small hole and use one bag of cement and a level, but it's definitely worth it. On a summer day our loads hung on the line will dry faster than loads in the dryer. I highly recommend this product.

I was skeptical that it would be easy to get into ground. I waited until after a rain to install . I followed the instructions and it worked. The base went in at a slight angle but so far no issues. It easily holds three to four loads of laundry.

I don't have a good space for a traditional clothes line- this ended up being a much better solution.

Had difficulty getting the post in but a neighbour with a better hammer did it for us, we are senior citizens. Plenty of room for two wash loads spread out. Easy to push up and down, very sturdy. Would recommend.

Looks to be alright.A major criticism is that there were only, I think,two bolts that were included for the "Spike" assembly.There were no nuts sent at all. There are twelve blt holes in the spike assembly; there shoulb be twelve uts and twelve bolts included in what is provided.I telephoned "Brabantia UK" and they then sent me sufficient bolts, but no nuts. I went to "Screwfix", where I purchased a pack of 100 nylon lined M5 bolts. These cost me £5.95, I think it was. although I only needed twelve nuts, a pack of 100 was the "Deal or No Deal". So, very eventually, one is now sorted.I used an augur to create the ground hole within which to anchor the spike.These companies really should send enclose a sufficent number of nuts and bolts, for the assambly.

Loved this, it was a good size, easy to install and had a weather cover. Almost two weeks on one of the lines have snapped. There's no way of re attaching as it's to short where it's snapped off. My last line lasted me 5 years with no issues and half the price. This wasn't a cheap line, have contacted the the company as Amazon can't swap this faulty item for a new one.
