he Sky Walker 1306 is a unique quad and flies like no other! The main quad copter is enclosed in a protective roll cage that doubles as a protective shield and functions as a wheel! No longer do you have to worry about smacking the ground too hard or smashing the blades off hitting an obstacle, this flying ball will bounce off of every surface and even roll across the ground or the ceiling. The Sky Walker 1306 is equipped with easy to fly technology. It can take off from any surface and has an auto upright design for easy crash recovery. The included 2.4ghz transmitter provides excellent function and feel for the quad and features trim adjustments to fine tune the flying character. A 3.7v 300mah battery provides about 6-9 minutes of flight time.?

Easy to control - seems very durable.
Bought as a gift for nephew, had to test it out first. Very easy to fly. Seems almost unbreakable - although I'm sure he'll figure out how to break it. Very responsive, very fast, and "snaps" back to level flight when you let go of the controls. Excellent.Charger plug doesn't want to unplug from battery very easily. In fact I pulled the charger into two pieces I had to pull on it so hard. It snapped right back together though so no harm done.. Will have to figure out why its sticking so tightly.Overall very entertaining, Probably better for younger kids as its more durable and easier to fly than traditional quad copters.

My first quad copter
Pro:1- Cage is a must for first time quad flyers, protects the copter and others from damage2- Good price3- I have to say again, the cage is awesome, I have fallen from 30 feet outside and it still keeps the copter protectedCon:1- Power connector is very hard to manage (hard to disconnect)2- Needs a lot of trimming to get copter adjusted right3- When copter starts to go crazy, it really goes crazySummary: Still glad I bought it, will hopefully get better at flying this soon

Not for "First Timers"
Gave this to my brother for a "novelty gift" for his birthday. He had a stroke and has limited use of one hand/arm. He simply couldn't do ANY thing with it. So then my OTHER brother gave it a try, with not much better success. HE even took it to a friends house, and they ended up crashing it into ceiling fans lamps etc, and had one heck of a time getting it to do any sustained level flight. So (then) "I" gave it a try (inside the house), and I can tell you it's not a inside kind of toy. OUT side, "maybe", but after 5-10 minutes the unit's battery ran down. You have to unplug the battery from the main unit to charge it. I had on heck of a time removing the cable from the battery to plug in the "Charging cable". It is Soooo hard to get to and Verrrrry resistant to being unplugged...... that finally I just gave up, put it into the box and am going to give it to my Grandson.I do NOT recommend this to someone that has never flown a similar model - I'm sure there are other units that are easier to use etc, but frankly, I would never recommend this to anyone "I consider a friend".

Fun and sturdy
I bought 4 of these. I have 3 sons. Ages 31,29,28 and a son in law 33. Every Christmas they get a stocking and some kind of remote control vehicle. All men are boys at heart. They had sooooo much fun competing on who could do the best stunt. The dogs were going crazy, it was hilarious, the whole family was entertained. My oldest son said he has flown a few RC helicopters and he said the Sky Walker was the easiest to control by far. Just watch the distance if it gets too far away the signal gets weak and you could loose control. We have one that got stuck up in a tree because of this (it's still up there) I did a lot of research before purchasing and the Sky Walker seemed the best for the money. There are better RC quad copters if you want to fork over the money. The best features are the pairing of the remote to the RC (like Bluetooth)you can fly many at one time and the cage around it. I would buy these again. Actually I did buy another one to replace the one in the tree. The only down side I can see is the flying time is a little short and we had one defective unit that was off kilter no matter what we did so we returned it for another.

Super durable and very agile.
I was blown away by this product. I've owned several helis all shapes and sizes, this one is innovative and durable like no other. I have smashed, crashed and mashed my skywalker... hard! and it's still going strong. I was also impressed by the speed and agility of the full power setting. The functionality of the grounding setting that prevents lift off is a little excessive in my opinion but can see its useful if you have a small child who wants a go. The remote feels a little cheap but I'm comparing it to a dx6, when compared to some of the other transmitters I've used in the price range it's actually a little above average. All in all this is a fantastic little heli and would highly recommend from beginner to advanced.

Great product!
I bought this for my grandchildren for Christmas. They opened it already and adored it! I saw these in my local mall but the price here was unbeatable. I even got one for myself. It arrived right on time with no damages to the box or the actual product. I recommend this to anyone out there.

Lots of indoor fun
The cage lets you roll the unit on the ground and up walls and across the ceiling. It does what you'd expect and prevents injury and other property damage from the spinning blades. It's really great for beginner pilots and small kids, as it quite safe. However, you might guess that the cage isn't weightless and definitely drags down the unit. We have another set of Syma quadcopters that fly naked and those have much more lift and agility.
