Rockland Vision Hardside Spinner Wheel Luggage, Carry-On 20", Love

I bought these over a year ago and so I've had a chance to really see how these bags hold up. The answer: FANTASTIC! I've taken them on all my travels with me and they've been perfect. They're lightweight, they hold a surprisingly lot of stuff, they're absolutely beautiful, and I'm proud to carry them. It's also true, as other reviewers have said, they stand out so distinctively that they're easy to find in a sea of other luggage. That's a stress-reliever for me, who used to carry plain black bags (I thought that was a sophisticated thing to do) and often stood at the airport wondering if I'd missed seeing mine or if someone else had picked them up at the conveyor belt by mistake. With these Rockland bags, the chances of me and someone else on the same flight having the exact same bag are really small, don't you think? In addition, the wheels work great and the color and art design on the outside of the bags have proven to be durable and bright, even a year after purchase and after many uses. I have the Love set with the Britto-esque hearts all over them and I am charmed every time I look at them, and also charmed when I look inside at the pretty pink and white polka dotted lining fabric. It makes me smile every time. Incidentally, the other set I considered purchasing was the Britto by Hays and that cost $1,100 for a comparable set. So this set was way more economically priced at only $160, and really, I consider these bags no less pretty than the Britto, but simply a different graphic design which is quite pretty and striking in its own right. I would buy them again and again and again, if I had occasion to, which I don't, because I'm convinced these will last a good long time. And when I do have to replace them, perhaps in 20 years, I will replace them with more Rockland luggage; perhaps the Pink Pearl set. But that's a long time from now, as I will be enjoying this lovely Love set for many years to come.

I really like this luggage! It's incredibly lightweight which is great for an over-packer like myself. They nest into each other and all 3 of them together weigh just under 25 lbs. The large size suitcase weighs under 10lbs on it's own which I appreciate. I like the hardshell too. The case is essentially in "half" with the ability to package half of your items on one size and zip up (so when you open, they won't fall out) and the other half has a buckle enclosure. This is nice for staying organized. I will be using this in conjunction with some packing cubes as well to stay even more organized. The rollers are VERY smooth & easy. I pulled this around my house with hardwood floors and over rugs just to test it out & I think it will be very nice in the airport. I'm short, 5'3" and the telescoping handle is a good length for me but has 2 different settings for someone who is taller or shorter. The design is quite loud & girly (and I'm sure my husband will poke fun at me) but I wanted "loud" luggage after years of having an all black suitcase and going nuts at the carousel trying to find which one was mine (even with tying on colorful scarves, luggage tags, pompoms, cable ties, etc.) I am confident this will be VERY easy to spot! I saw some reviews about surface scratching, marks, etc. Having not traveled with it yet, I can't comment on that - but I can say that isn't a huge concern of mine. If the outside gets scuffed a bit, who cares? I care about the safe containment of my items, the ease of movement, the lightweight design & the easily recognizable pattern. Overall this exceeded my expectations & I'm looking forward to my next trip with it.

I am an adult who wanted a small case to travel with in my sports car and this is perfect. I also wanted a design where I could put stickers on my luggage without any issues and that fits my need because the case is smooth making it easier to apply my stickers. By itself it's adorable!. So far I would say this is a great value for my purchase and I'm extremely happy so far. I do not expect this to stay perfect as all my luggage has been beat up even traveling by car. It works as expected and I'm not disappointed.

Absolutely perfect. Gift for my daughter!!! When it arrives and you peel the protective coating off to find this wonderful shiny surface while true colors all around. The design on the outside is crisp and not too bright. For the Warhol fan it is spot on! It glides a long without any hesitation. It feels almost weightless when you grab the squeezable handle on top in order to pick it up. My daughter is over six foot tall, but the handle height was just right. Not too short, as with my experience a short handle makes for miserable travel. By the way, traveled with no question of size pertaining to it being a carry on peice of luggage. You open it up to the cutest shade of pink inside with the separating divider. There are little compartments and pockets that are just right. With the divider in the middle it is great, it was used to cover the intimates packed. Which is nice if you should have to open it in the airport. The shape and size did not restrict the amount needed to pack by any means. Using the roll method for packing, there was plenty of room for shoes, outfits and sweaters. I love the suitcase and have passed along the link for friends that were admiring fellow travelers. As well, note to self- you can't miss this cute suitecase anywhere. Especially if you ever decide to check your bag. You will certainly see it right away on the carousel. This pink one was a special price and the perfect gift. While I am sure the other colors are perfection as well. Hope you find this review helpful.

Overall I am very pleased with this luggage. I've flown with it twice and so far (knock on wood!) it's held up well. I've also traveled by car on extensive road trips twice and again (knock on wood) it's doing well. It rolls smoothly and the zipper is holding up (gosh...I hope I am not jinxing myself!). :) My biggest disappointment came when I first received the set and began deciding which of the three bags I was going to bring with me to Costa Rica (I could only bring two and didn't want to bring bigger bags than I needed). It was then that I discovered that, given my height (5'8" tall) I don't see myself using the smallest bag (the carry-on) likely EVER. Why? The handle only reaches 27 1/2" high when fully extended whereas my old carry-on bag extends 40" high. The result is that when I attempted to walk with the new carry-on bag behind me it kept hitting the backs of my heels. So it obviously didn't make the journey with me (my old, ratty, carry-on did!). ** UPDATE: Much to my embarrassment, about three months after writing this review I discovered that the handle DOES extend higher, as high as my old one. But it gets stuck really badly and jams and that is why I thought it only went up 27 1/2". And, once I do get it up, getting it back down is a challenge. So, update reads: Handle is long enough but jams easily, especially when trying to fully extend it and put it back down. Now as far as the way you pack these suitcases is concerned: I both like and dislike this. Let me explain: I like it because I can get really organized when packing and it holds a lot quite well. By putting it in a zippered part in the lid as well as the bottom part you can do this. But therein lies the downside as well. Unless you're in a hotel room with A LOT of space where you can lay the bag out flat you quickly get disorganized because you are constantly having to shut the bag and everything in the lid gets messed up. If you're traveling alone and have a spare bed in your hotel room you're in luck! But, since I travel with my hubby and he has a suitcase and his gear (he's a pro photographer) we never seem to have enough room. Opened up like all the way (unfolded) the suitcase does not fit on a traditional suitcase rack that many hotels have for your to use, nor does it fit on most other sorts of spaces provided. That leaves the floor and I can't tell you how many times I've stubbed my toe trying to get around it. My husband had a bag with a similar design and he returned his. I won't because, like I said, I both like and dislike this organizational style and the bag's hard sides and VERY good wheels make up for it. All in all, I would say this is the best bag I've had in years. Now, let's just hope that zipper continues to hold up (and, I have to be honest - I've pushed my luck and had to sit on the suitcase to get it to shut!!).

I ordered this luggage for two reasons: 1) it was an excellent price and 2) I love owls lol Rockland is a good company and the price for this 2 piece set was unbelievable so I just had to order it (the price tags on the spinner luggage said $220 for the 28" and $120 for the 22"!) So this entire set was cheaper then just one piece at retail!!! A great buy! As I was eagerly waiting for my luggage to arrive I saw that it was being returned because it was damaged in transit...so I contacted customer support via Amazon and explained the situation (thru text)! The "person" named Belle said if I wanted them to send another set out they would immediately at no charge to me as this damage was not my fault! I said yes and they even upped it to 2 days shipping at no additional charge and in 3 days on the 5th (4th of July was Tuesday and theres no mail on the 4th in America) it arrived at my door! I just love it! It's roomy and solid and in great condition...and light weight! I can't wait for vacation 2017 in less then 2 months!!! Bring on the summer fun in sun!!! Thank you Amazon for taking care of your loyal customers!!! Update: I went round trip to MB SC Dublin Ireland and LA CA since I’ve bought this luggage and No problems! They are still in great shape minus the scuffs from the airport but wheels and zippers all in working order! Very satisfied customwe
