Light works well, but lens falls out
Easy to install and work well, but the lens started falling off about 9 months after install. They just pop in place. Nothing to really hold it securely in place. One fell, hit floor, and broke, can't get replacement lens.

Amazing design, great quality, and functionality
Excellent solution for retrofit lighting. In the old days installing a recessed can in an existing sheet rock Or plaster ceiling was a pain. While you still have holes to cut an wire to weave through the ceiling, but instead of hangars needing to be attached to joists, possibly needing to access the area from above (if it is unfinished attic), and then the worry about heat build up all goes away, the light itself is 1/2” think, clips to the drywall and a wired connection to a box that is about the size of two decks of cards.Wiring one of these to a switch is easy and it really doesn’t matter whether you use 12 or 14 gauge wire. However, when you get into multiple lights, and wiring them in parallel, stepping up to 12/3 or 14/3 rather than the two wire alternatives. I usually just keep, rolls of 10 and 12 gauge wire around the house in several different flavors, and the. If i get in the middle of something i am generally covered. When i need heavier wire it’s typically for something special. That all changed today, in the middle of wring in a series of 4 of these lights together using 12/3, I paused opened Amazon and orders rolls of 14/2 and 14/3 to keep in stock. Why? It’s the size of the boxes, yes you can squeeze 12/3 wire in but it is just stiff enough that I found myself spending equal amounts of time wrong the lights as I did getting it all to fit and close the lid. I had an old piece of 14 gauge wire laying around and just played with it and realized that small change would make a world of difference. I had just ordered another box of these lights yesterday, and I sure don’t want to have to got through all that again. The only other change that I would make to thee lights is making the ground screw a little bigger. At 50, I don’t consider myself old, but between fingers and bifocals the #2 screws are just way, way small - thank God they are steel so if you drop one you can snag it with a magnet! The 5000k slight is superb, and the 100 degree angle works well to prevent the shadow comes that many of the early cans caused - unless you adjusted them below the baffle. He light will raise any ceiling that has a surface mounted fixture.Great price, great light. I wish they were Wi-Fi, but I am going to try a tp-link switch to see if that will be a good work around.

Super easy to install and BRIGHT!
These things are AMAZING! We've installed over 30 of these lights throughout our home, updating some dated fixtures, including some old fluorescent lights. They're clean and sleek looking and the daylight color is beautiful. They worked on some super cheap dimmers I bought on Amazon, as well as some VERY old dimmers that we have throughout our home. With my cheap dimmer switches, they do start to flicker at very low levels, which is to be expected. If that's going to bother you, make sure you buy a good dimmer switch... The cheap ones are just that... Cheap!Installation is a breeze. We used a 6.5" hole drill bit that we already had handy. Works just fine with these lights. They're so thin that you can install them below a joist just fine. You can literally install them anywhere that has a gap on two opposite sides for the clips to pop in. It couldn't be easier. You don't even need wire nuts with these ones. THE ONLY ADDITIONAL ITEM YOU'LL NEED is a metal or plastic wire clamp to hold the wires in place, going into and out of the junction box. See my photos for examples. It's worth the extra money (not much) to get the lights with the all metal installation clip springs and the plastic wire clips that make it so you don't need to fuss with wire nuts. These things are easy to use and couldn't be easier to install. We will be buying more as we continue to update our existing fixtures.

Easy installation, Bright
I will be honest, I don't review a lot of the things I buy on Amazon, but these lights are AMAZING. Currently remodeling a room that had some crappy lights, and it is prone to shadows as it is a small room with the HVAC system. These lights are lightweight, easily installed, and provide a ton of light. They install very easily, and the provided template is nice for cutting the right-sized hole.I have not used a dimmer with them (yet), but I can see how they would benefit from one as they are very bright. I prefer the natural daylight (5000K) look for lightbulbs throughout the house, and these fit the bill perfectly. I paid about 68 for 6 of them, a similar light is about 20 individually at Lowes at best, so extreme value for the money.A word of caution, though - the mounting box is quite small and tight if trying to string the max of 3 inputs with each (IE you can attach three grounds, three neg, and three pos within the terminal box provided, but there is not enough room for that much wire!). If found it easier to install a generic junction box where I needed more than 2 inputs to one box/light.Time will tell if these hold up as advertised, but I am super impressed so far! (And so is my wife, the end-all supervisor of the household renovations). If they hold up, I WILL be buying more.

Well made
I have used a few different brands and these have metal install clips and by far are the best. The ones made with plastic can break during install
