Works great! It fit perfectly on my 2-3 month old! He had a hernia appearing at 2 months and kept getting bigger, we decided to put this on for support until his abdominal muscles strengthened as he grows. He’s been using it for 2 weeks now and you can definitely see the difference! Just follow instructions on packaging. Also put over diaper to add ab extra layer of protection to skin but also to not get belt dirty!

Definitely give this a try. I had my son wear the level one for 1 and a half months. I tried the level 2 on him after wearing level 1, but he would spit out more while wearing it so after 1 week I switched him back to level 1. His hernia did not go from the picture on the left to the picture on the right while wearing the belt so don’t get discouraged! After he wore the belt for one and a half months he kids out grew it because he got really chunky (lol) so he stopped wearing it at 3 months and his hernia was way smaller but not completely gone. I was a bit disappointed, but after a few weeks his belly button came back 🤗 I took him to his 4 month appointment and even the doctor was surprised that it had gone back to normal. She poke his belly button and said the muscle was not fully formed yet and there was still a tiny gap, but it was way better than when she saw him at his 2 month appointment. This belt definitely started the healing process so give it a try.

Sorry, photos are a bit out of order. The last photo is where it started ! The first two is after 2 weeks of using the belt and the 3rd photo is current ! Healed ! I recommend anyone who baby has an umbilical hernia! Do not wait for it to get bigger and risk surgery ! My baby hernia when the cord fell off started off so much more smaller that it wasn’t even noticeable. The doctor said it would go away on its own but it grew so big it poked out through her clothes! I was concerned and did not want to risk it. She wore it all day, everyday. Took it off for baths and diaper changes only. It did not bother her at all ! I put the belt over the diaper to prevent messes and just removed each diaper change and checked the progress as well.

My son has an umbilical hernia and the doctor just said they are common and they will watch it until he’s five. I’m not a fan of that because if it doesn’t go away he will have to have surgery and I’d rather try something easy now. This definitely helps. Unfortunately it would make our son spit up more often. I also couldn’t put him in the car seat with it on. So I don’t know how often right now he will be able to wear it because he eats every 3 hours (he’s only 2 months old). He wears it to bed and his hernia looks way better in the morning.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. We tried using it one day and found it to be a hassle tucking it around his back to fasten. BUT the following day the hernia got bigger, so we vowed to use it. This is day five of using it and his belly now stays in, unless he's pooping or farting or crying. We keep it on the outside of his clothes now so it's not sweaty for him and we can do diaper changes while keeping it on. My hubs and I only remove it for outfit changes (only when he's not crying) in the AM and again in the PM or when his clothes get severely dirty or for bath time (which we do every third day). Any time it's off, we try to hold in his bellybutton with our finger or palm. I am hoping the muscles around the bellybutton close shut soon so we don't have to order a bigger size and the issue is resolved. Good luck, it's a hassle, but I swear it has made him more comfortable, especially when gassy. No crying anymore! For reference, my baby is 9 weeks old, 13lbs, was extremely fussy around a bowel movement/gas (lots of crying!), hernia started the width of a dime, grew to the width of a nickel, stuck out 3/4th of an inch (!), and is now flat with his body, unless there is extreme pressure which is why we rarely take it off, and is rarely fussy around a BM now. We did not use the concave patch (I believe that is for hernias with widths larger than a nickel), just went with the flat patch. We have never used the small round patch and don't see a need for it since we always put the band on when he is dry.

This product helped my baby with his belly button, I wouldve gave it 5 stars but it was missing the last button thats a circle for some reason. I did notice that when it arrived the bag it came in was half way open other than that great product

Our baby boy was born with a very thick umbilical cord that turned into a hernia almost immediately. He was born small at 5.5 lbs and within 10 weeks of using this belt, his hernia has diminished significantly and is so small, we can now see the light at the end of a dark mysterious tunnel that doctors dont seem to care to educate enough about. All we got told is that he may have to have surgery if it isnt healed and that we need to be on the lookout for redness, killing of intestinal tissue, intestinal strangulation etc. When our pediatrician saw his belly even she is SURPRISED at how much smaller our baby’s hernia is so fast! My only regret is not buying this IMMEDIATELY! It is so soft and adjustable and has fit him well enough since 6 weeks at a mere 6-7lbs. The photos are from when he first started really growing the hernia at 2 weeks old, the doctor telling us to wait it out at 4weeks old, and he has been wearing the belt fairly consistently for about 10weeks. He is now 4 months old in the last pics.
