Bought these sometime ago and still going strong. Has kept it's edge and the wood hasn't broken down. Recommend

The media could not be loaded.  We absolutely love the set! The blades are sharp and ready for use. Handles have a great feel. Very impressed with the product and would definitely recommend it!

I'm a retired chef so I appreciate a good knife but don't want to spend $100 for my home use, I don't really cook that much any more. But these knives are great quality and heavy, forged and super sharp. An amazing value. The wood is raw so I am going to oil with mineral oil to protect from water. Highly recommend.

These came sharpened and probably enough for most. Even so I sharpened them myself and added blade guards to protect them and me. I have used each knife in the set and they are very much worth the money. I do recommend purchasing a good set of blade guards to keep your investment in these.

Have had many wood handle Chicago knives. Always wash in dishwasher could be a bit sharper and more heft.
