Need to get wifi signal to outdoor gym 70mtrs from main house would this be up to the job, have tried plug in lan extenders to no avail

Borderline I would say - I probably get 50 metres, but its mounted on a stone statue in the garden. Mine is not an ideal setup for getting the best range

Needed for wifi in outhouse. Do I put this item up on the building that has the internet or on the building that doesnt?

You need to establish where your signal is strongest outside the building with wi fi. The range will then be increased. Mounting it on the receiving building will probably not work because the internet signal will be weakest there. Use an app (several free) on your mobile to locate the best spot. Hope this helps. Have fun. Mike

I have to provide wifi to an ev charger 40 metres from any building, i can get a data cable about 10 metres away from it. would this work ??

Yes it should, I have mine linked over power line and it provides coverage for my entire garden/driveway and quite a few rooms in the house.

Can I use this unit in my caravan to boost the weak site wifi signal? Will this unit boost the signal and then repeat to my laptop and Firestick?

I have the wavlink on an outside wall wired with a long Ethernet cable to the modem. It then sends a wifi signal down the garden for a solar powered security camera. I don’t see how you would use it on a caravan site
