will this fit tear drop tank honda fury?

Thank you for your interest in our decals. The size our decal is, may fit, but it would be best if you checked the measurements in our ad first. Although it may fit on your tank, we would be a little concerned about applying the decal over the ridge on the sides of your tank... It doesn`t look easy to deal with, and we do not know if it may distort the shape of the decal once applied. We do think one of our Universal flame decal kits would be a better option ( we do have a flame set with the American Flag in them). If you have any other questions, please contact us directly. Does anything happen to them if a little gas spills on them?

Good question! For the most part, a little gas won`t hurt them... If possible, try to wipe it up ,and rinse as soon as possible. Repeated & numerous spills, over time will first start to degrade the adhesive at the edge of the decal, and eventually start to yellow the laminate. The material we use for all of our decals is an Automotive grade vinyl, which is laminated after printing so it is durable, and can take a few splashes of gas

can you clear coat over these decals?

Thank you for your inquiry. The short answer is yes, they can be cleared over. It is highly recommended that a high quality Urethane Only be used, and in numerous light coats - especially the first few.
