Bought similar bass (fretless) and was pleasantly surprised the fret positions are marked so if like me you tend towards portly your Twelve pack will tip the front slightly so you can see then and play in tune (ISH) sounds best if you mute the string's with you little finger luckily my sausage fingers seem to be a similar size to the fret positions at the blower end of the neck so I was soon beatleing away to the ballad of John and Yoko (see what I did there!)
