KLIQ AirCell Guitar Strap for Bass & Electric Guitar with 3" Wide Neoprene Pad and Adjustable Length

My first impression of the strap is that it is very well-made. Stitching and seams are straight and beefy. It is a clean functional design. Logo is discreet. I got a 3” black strap. I have used the strap with a 9.5 lb PRS Kestrel bass for about five days. It is extremely comfortable. I saw some of the negative comments regarding the chemical smell and that the strap material stretches. The strap smelled like a new neoprene wet suit when I took it out of the box. The smell quickly dissipated. Not a big deal. There is some stretch in the neoprene material. I did not find it to impact playability . The “give” the strap for me is a plus. I think it makes the strap conform better to my shoulders and body. Regarding comments that the strap air cell nubs are slippery. I found that the strap grips great on my cotton/cotton blend T-shirts and hoodies. The bass I am using is well balanced. No dive. If you have a bass with major neck dive, a suede strap might be a better call. For me the grip is solid. I also saw comments that the leather tabs on the strap are too thick. The beefy straps fit perfectly on my stock PRS buttons. My buttons have a pronounced flare which helps with retention. I am using this strap with standard Fender strap blocks (rubber gasket thingys). It is a tight fit. Which is a good thing. The blocks have not moved. The strap feels very secure. Lastly. Sizing. I got a regular size and run it at 47“ (so almost in shortest position). My strap is true to advertised size. Some of the comments regarding sizing seem unwarranted. Just measure your existing strap size from hole to hole and order accordingly.

I've been using 2 inch guitar straps for my basses forever, mostly because I buy Ibanez and Schecter, which are light. However, I picked up a Sterling Ray34HH that is definitely over 9 pounds and after a 3 hour jam session, my shoulder was killing me, so I decided to get one of these for Prime Day. Pros 1. The padding is good, and the 3 inch width helps distribute the weight more. Feels better. 2. I like that it has a little stretch to it, makes it less painful when I'm bouncing around. 3. Seems like it's made out of gold materials. Feels like it'll last a while. 4. The strap connectors are tight, I don't feel like it's going to drop my bass. Neutral 1. The strap length is just barely long enough for me. I like to play a little lower with a 45 degree angle, and this strap maxed out is on the high side of my preference. Cons 1. Gets tangled easily after I take it off and set the bass down. No big deal, just a little annoying. Overall, happy with the purchase and I'll probably get another one eventually so I'm not swapping one strap among my 4 basses. Overall, very good, even if it's a little pricy. This is, by far, the most comfortable strap I've ever worn. It feels as great on my Yamaha TRBX304 bass as it does on my Fender Stratocaster. At 6'1" and "big", the strap isn't too short with either guitar -- even when standing. The width and padding really makes it feel almost as though you're not wearing a strap at all. And unlike some cheaper thin polyester straps, I can play for as long as I want without my back hurting later. (For some reason, that seemed to be a problem with an XL Dunlop strap I have.) Construction is top-notch, and even the packaging is high quality. The only problem I had is that the holes are ridiculously tight at first, and the leather is really thick. It only took a little while to break in, but when I bought a second strap to use with strap locks, I had to set the locks, and then tighten them a little bit each night for several days before I was confident the nut wouldn't pop off of the lock. Of course, if you're not using strap locks, that means the leather is thick enough that it'll probably outlast the neoprene strap itself. Totally worth the money, and as you see, I liked it so much, I bought two.

It's a remarkable strap - most comfortable I've ever had. I put it on my primary guitar, so it's my primary strap. That being said, I really wish that these great straps had great design options. But your only options are these flat plain colors. There's a lot of CHEESY designs on guitar straps out there, I don't need anything like that, just some simple mildly-artsy design would be nice. Something like white marble, or black gold marble, or a 2/3-color gradient design, or a sort of cathedral aesthetic, or Roman or Celtic or Norse viking aesthetic, oriental aesthetic... more design options would be great to see, and I'm sure people would pay an extra $5-10 for cooler designs. But as far as functionality goes, yes A+. Adds relief for my fretting-hand shoulder while standing with my top-heavy guitar. It just helps, it obviously doesn't completely alleviate the tension - that would be too miraculous for something as simple as a guitar strap.

My guitar is heavy, and bothersome if in use for a long time. I got the strap to relieve the strain. I was concerned about the strap width and the grip texture being uncomfortable as well. The width and texture had no negative impact on me, very comfortable. The strap holes are very stiff, which is what I wanted, no strap locks needed, but not quick to put on oversize strap buttons. It is well made, with a muted (but not cheap) appearance. I like the tie-on strings, though I will not use them; they appear equal to tie-ons I have on one guitar for 30 years. Overall, worth the price for comfort, appearance, and safety.

I have back and shoulder issues and this strap allows me to play a heavy electric bass. I’ve played acoustic previously and didn’t require a strap like this. It sits very comfortably on my shoulder and I can play for hours with it. Some users described an issue with the odor of the strap but I only noticed a slight smell when I removed it from the packaging and have had no problem with it after that. Really just a great strap and glad I bought it.

I originally bought a KLIQ AirCell for my heavy Les Paul and was really pleased with how comfortable it was for extended playing sessions compared to a normal strap. The weight feels like it's distributed better and the AirCell makes it much less fatiguing to wear a 9lb+ guitar for a couple of hours. I also have two guitars that are prone to neck dive and found that the KLIQ's width and the texture from the cells gave it enough stability to almost completely counteract the problem. It made enough of a difference that I bought a second AirCell just to swap between those two guitars (with the straplock "backwards" on the neck end, since both have strap buttons on the back instead of the upper bout/horn). I think the KLIQ is a really great choice, particularly for those two situations. On my lighter guitars (≤ 8.5lb) that don't neck dive, I don't really "need" an AirCell and I'm still using other straps, mostly for aesthetics. Which is really my only complaint with the KLIQ -- it looks pretty boring and the neoprene outer looks, well, like neoprene. There are a couple other solid color options but it'd be really cool if KLIQ offered some AirCells finished with the jacquard weave, retro styles that they offer on their 2" straps.

i like how well it matches with the insignia on the neck. also tbh its a comfortable strap and all, very good quality. but i wish it was a little more longer on the polyester band. again for skinny people like you it won't matter. it does the job good though. holds it at the position i want it no problem. it bends and expands in the weight difference so that's always good for suspension. the button holes at the end do a really great job holding the buttons on the solar guitar and are not flimsy at all its hard leather, no locking nuts needed. the high quality solar strap buttons and the strap make for a great marriage in that regard.

There are a lot of cheap, tacky looking leather straps out there, some of which are actually not very comfortable. I really like this strap. The leather ends are of a reasonable quality, but I would still not trust them without a strap-lock, as suggested by some other reviewers. The strap itself is light and extremely comfortable. The aircell bumps on the photo help to make the strap feel comnfortable, and are a great idea. The price is not cheap, and I could imagine that a low-quality neoprene strap could be made very cheaply. However, this strap seems to be well made and I am very happy with the apparent quality. As one other reviewer has already noted, it is not as if we are likely to be buying a new strap every month or two. It is not flashy or decorative (but neither am I) , but is a VERY comfortable and functional strap that I would expect to last a considerable time.

Prix élevé mais la différence se fait sentir, en particulier pour les instruments lourds comme la basse. Le système de coussinets creux est agréable et efficace pour soulager le dos et l'épaule en cas d'utilisation prolongée, l'instrument parait bien plus léger qu'il n'est. Les mêmes coussinets, en "accrochant" l'épaule plus qu'une simple sangle ne le ferait, permettent aussi de compenser partiellement le basculement ou "neck dive" à la place de la main gauche lorsque le poids de l'instrument est déséquilibré vers la tête.

Usually I am skeptical, but I have been using this strap for a couple of weeks, I am pleasantly surprised with the comfort, it's very light and I really like it, I might buy another. I have a couple of really good Steph leather straps that I like also, but this strap is just as good if not better because it's lighter.
