My hubby is glad he went for the better quality set, It is in a case which it fits in easily, and he has spent many happy hours re-wiring a tractor.

I wanted a versatile crimping set to be able to tackle all terminal types I need when wiring up car accessories and renewing corroded connectors on my classic cars. This set fitted the bill. Crimps are good and strong, well completed and don't pull apart. Having the option to use the best jaws for the job and being confident is a real plus. I'm happy. But there is room for improvement and it's easy things too. 1. Why are the engraved numbers on the jaws not picked out in white? They are important but almost impossible to read. I did this myself, see pictures. 2. Why are not all the jaws available in the UK? I had to use Amazon USA for some, and this was needless if all jaws were made available. 3. The 9" crimper should be the one supplied with the kit. It's hardly much bigger but is a better design for larger terminal types But all in all its a good kit and I enjoy using it so that's a plus.

Good quality product case good would be even better if you could choose from a list the die heads you need ,and just receive those.

If like me you're looking to crimp old style non-insulated terminals on a classic car for that period look, do yourself a favour and buy a cheap 15 quid tool as this one isn't really compatible. I spent ages reading reviews on Amazon trying to find the best tool and this one stood out. But for the non-insulated terminals I'm using, it just makes a mess. Yes, you can crimp terminals with them, but (a) you have to do them twice - once in the bigger size, then again in the smallest size, and even then the terminal gets bent and needs reshaping (if you start in the smallest size it just crushes the terminal); (b) 50% of the time the terminal rotates whilst crimping and ends up ruined and you have to start again. I've used these for insulated terminals and they seem fine, but it's not what I bought them for.

When crimping connectors the the left and righand side of the crimper move apart. See review from Mark on 29 June 2021 (Are they made of cheese?). His photos are better than the ones I took. Not sure how this got past quality control?

Аt each crimping аdjust crimping height, they move from their position. Аt the next crimping the crimps get stuck!

An excellent crimper, the only down side is you cannot buy additional jaws for this version. Would be helpful if this was declared in the product description.

For the money, I don't think this set can be beaten. I bought them for a home garage tool box but the quality and convenience of this set was a pleasant surprise. The dies fit snugly in the frame and feel solid during the crimp. So far, I have not yet had a bad crimp with non-insulated, insulated, and insulated heat-shrink connectors using this set. The case is convenient and each die set is clearly marked with its own designated spot in the case. This is now my favorite set of crimps to use. Very impressed with Wirefy. [UPDATE] I've now been using this crimper set for over two years and it has become my main crimping tool. I have since gotten rid of two Klein crimpers (one of which had broken) and replaced it with this one. Early on I would have said I prefered to have the thumbscrew locking feature of the Kleins, but the dies in this tool seat securely with a socket-like retention ball. Still five stars.

Recibida en tiempo corto. La tenaza es muy robusta y el manejo se hace comodísimo, además del maletín de servicio que trae. De mucha calidad y realmente útil el cambio de mordazas, después de la mala experiencia de tenaza con tornillos. La he utilizado con bastantes terminales en un cableado y ha sido perfecto, tanto el apriete como el acabado. Resumiendo. Una gran herramienta y de total confianza y calidad. La recomiendo. Tenaza para muchos años.

It works well. Easy to change from die to die and seems to be a quality tool.
