Why did you pick this product vs others?:Despite what is stated, it does not fit a 1995 Miata.

So this roll bar is cute, and it looks cute on our Miata. When it arrived, there was copious amounts of tape on the box which had me suspicious. When I cut through the tape the bar was marred on the top. There were no instructions in the box, everything was trial and error. I had installed a Hard Dog single bar years ago and that was trying, but looked good as well. I found the plastic caps covering the seat belt bolts did not cover the bolts once installed. My assistant (wife) said "F it" we need as much threads securing the belts then the plastic caps covering the belt bolts. A little touch up paint will do wonders. Like I said it's a cute bar and will serve it's purpose. Like my Jeep that has a roll bar, the Miata should all come with roll bars installed.

Surprisingly easy to install I was worried I wouldn’t be able to install it due to not knowing much about Miata’s but I figured it out in less than an hour. Doesn’t come with instructions so I looked up a YouTube video and got it done. For this price it looks great. Definitely not gonna help if you roll your car but it does make the car look great. I installed in a 2001 Miata.

Purchased for my wifes 02 Miata for a birthday presant. Took a while before my health was good enough to install it. Bar will not fit, not even close. It is at least 2 inches from being wide enough for the bolts to go in the holes on both sides. Reached out to company and they sent a youtube video link of two young kids painting and installing a used one they got from a friend? Then they told me to sell it on Facebook marketplace? I am stuck with a piece I cannot use. Overall this was a good buy. Looks good, though not truly that glossy, more of a satin finish.As far as installation, as the description says, there are no instructions. I Installed this on my 1999 and it took me about an hour and a half with the proper tools. The hardware is included, however I will note that the back holes did not line up, so I used only two bolts on each side instead of three rather than re-drilling them all.There is significant disassembly on the 2nd gen Miata over the 1st. Removal of the rear carpet, seat belts, panels, windbreaker, door sills, and weatherstripping. Not that intensive, but it will take a little extra time. Also slight modification is required with a simple box cutter to the seat belt cover panels to make them fit back in after install. Factory windbreaker holes will not lineup properly after installation, so you either need to re-drill or leave out if you are considering this roll bar.Overall not a bad purchase/upgrade for 80 bucks. Would buy again.

Does not fit. Pinch I’m pipe to where during rolls it’s likely to crush towards the driver. Not a good part. Bad fitment as well. Had to modify to fit properly.

Fits perfectly. You need to fit everything but mounts perfectly to the seat belt structural towers. I both the soft top and the hard top and it works great with both.

Product was a bit tight for 99-05 nb Miata but once you hammered the other side it fits really nicely to the car
