I'm 5'6, 278 lbs and have a 42DDD bust. I bought the 2XL half expecting it not to fit as it seemed like a stretch. But it fits perfectly! This is a beautiful, plus size, curvy friendly dress! For me, it did go above the knees and my butt would show if I bent over (but I shouldn't be doing too much of that). It's so flattering! Everyone gives me compliments. It can be a basic summer dress for a picnic or church, or you can dress it up for a wedding. The arms are a touch tight but they stretch out quickly.

So first I wanted to say that I've been sewing 30 years and for this price I couldn't have purchased the fabric and zipper. It's a 65% cotton / 35 poly blend. It's a light weight knit with 40-50% stretch across the bodice and only a bit of give in the vertical direction. This makes for a very comfortable tee-shirt-like fitted bodice and flowie skirt. I'm uploading a picture of the inside seam to show its a 4 thread serged seam. It's good for knits that need seams to stretch with the fabric as the garment is worn, and at this price point it's not expected to be constructed with more reinforcement. You could run a safety stretch stitch along the sides or around the cap sleeve area if it's going to be worn often but be sure to use a ballpoint knit needle so as to keep from seeing puncture wounds (holes!) In the fine knit. I've seen some reviews complaining about the fabric; unless they received a different dress this cotton/poly blend is soft, comfortable and easy care. Hand wash in woolite or in a mesh laundry bag on the gentle cycle and it will wear nicely for a long time. I don't know what the expectations of the haters are, but seriously, for the price this is a sweet little dress that flatters and feminizes. I have a short torso and need petite sizing. This dress is not labled petite, but its fitting just as great. The armholes are not gaping, and the torso length fits just right from shoulders to waist. I've gained weight over the winter and it settled in my mid section and yet this dress gives me an hourglass silouette. It's a keeper.

(wife review) Pretty dress with decent quality of fabric (not bad; not amazing). Not terribly see-through. Fabric is stretchy and soft. I would say this dress is more of a breast feeding friendly dress, not necessarily a dress specifically designed for nursing. I say this because one breast panel is very easy to peal back (because it is the outer panel). The inner panel takes a little more effort and stretching. Not a big deal, but it is what knocks a star off since a fussy baby and a challenging panel would be a rough combo. Fit is great and a fair value for the price.

So I absolutely love this dress. First, the fit is amazing. I was a little worried about the criss-cross top; for anyone with a larger chest, this can end up looking really strange if the "criss-cross" lies right across your bust. On this dress, it actually lies just above your bust, which is perfect: You don't end up with the line laying strangely, but also don't have to worry about gaping, or wearing a tank top underneath. Second, the midsection has a bit of ruching at the side, which is very flattering. There is also a side zip, which I wasn't expecting, that makes the dress super easy to zip up, and not likely to rip or stretch the way a similar "pull-over" dress would. The material is also super comfortable, the cap sleeves are really cute, and the length is perfect - I am about 5'5", and the dress hits me exactly at my knees. Overall, this is just a great dress to wear to the office, out for dinner, to a casual BBQ, to church... the list just goes on. Considering how hesitant I was to purchase this (but I just loved the pattern too much not to), I am ecstatic with this; in fact, I received compliments the very first time I wore it. For the price, I will be purchasing this same dress in several different patterns/colors! For reference: I usually wear a medium or a large, and opted for the large, as I wasn't sure about the stretch in the material. I probably could have gotten away with the medium, but the large is comfortable, not tight anywhere, and fits pretty perfectly. If you're on the fence about sizing, I would recommend sizing up.

I bought this June 8th to wear on a dinner cruise for my anniversary and I have worn it once and HAND washed it and hung it out to dry 2 times and it is already piling. I am so disappointed and I missed the return window by 5 days. This is a cute dress and comfortable but after 1 wear and 2 washes it looks gross. Would not recommend this unless you plan to only wear it once or twice.

Roughly 40% of the time I end up returning the clothes I buy on Amazon, because of bad fit or quality. Another 40% of the time I keep the item but never wear it because “I might wear it one day” and it’s just too inconvenient to ship it back. This dress falls into the rare 20% of the time I would have actually found this item at the store and fallen in love with it. Amazing fit, pretty without being inappropriate, thick enough to feel comfortable and cheap enough to not mind if it doesn’t last long. I did cover the girls with a cami because I work with kids all day, and I added a belt for a bit more definition. I’ll be buying more.

I am very happy with this dress. I am 5'1" and 105 lbs and the fit is perfect. I'm short, so on me the length is slightly below the knee. It's a very flattering dress and it's perfect for summer. I love the fabric as it's lightweight and just a little stretchy. I have a couple of trips coming up and it will travel very well in my suitcase and won't get wrinkled.
