I’ve been skateboarding for years, and finding the right helmet has always been a challenge. After trying a few different brands, I decided to go with the Triple Eight Certified Sweatsaver Helmet, and I have to say—it’s easily one of the best helmets I’ve worn. At first, I ordered the L/XL size, but it was too loose. Even with the padding, it would shift around and felt unstable, especially when I shook my head. I have a 22.5-inch head circumference, so I decided to exchange it for a Small/Medium, and the difference was night and day. The fit is snug but incredibly comfortable—I honestly forget I’m even wearing it sometimes! Bought this same model helmet a year and a half ago for half the price. I was sad to see the price increase but glad to find a Used-Like New option for the price I'd paid for the previous one. These are great helmets, comfortable and I like the removable liners to clean and adjust to the perfect fit. My head feels comfortable and protected. Unfortunately everything is increasing in price these days but I still think this brand is worth investing a few extra dollars into.

Great Helmet. It's warm and muggy in FL. This keeps the sweat out of my eyes it fits snug with no play. Definitely check your side before ordering as there isn't a way to tighten it. The vents/holes provide great air flow. Took it for a 30 min ride and was very comfortable. Love the matte finish.

These Tony Hawk brand helmets are amazing they're completely safe and go above and beyond the standard/s of what is recommended for a safety helmet. I had just upgraded, purchased a brand new e-bike in March and this e-bike goes fast, it is not a cheap, thin metal/aluminum, unsafe ride; it is definitely powerful and I did not take into consideration that I had just moved to a new city that is not very like friendly or attentive to bicyclers. I was hit by a car on Juneteenth this year, I was not wearing a helmet, I had never purchased a helmet or worn one and I'm 31. I rode bikes snowboarded roller blades, and never feared falling and hurting myself or my head. I am so lucky and thankful that I did not get my head severely injured. My ribs, hip, leg, and a few other parts of my body were/are injured. I purchased this helmet and I am thankful that I did, I was good night e-bike about 20 miles to a different town and literally just sitting at a stoplight I lost my balance and fell off my e-bike hit my head and I did not feel a thing my helmet was a little scratched but not to the point where you could visably notice it. Embarrassing I know. All these helmets are extremely attractive and not just that they don't make your head look really big or like a mushroom they have so much air so your head doesn't get hot and sweaty, along with the adjusters that come with it, you can take them out you can wash them you can adjust the helmet with a different sizes that it comes with it so it's comfortable on your head. The straps are very comfortable and I found it helpful as I never worn a helmet before to watch the video so I knew how to put the helmet on and adjust it so that it was correctly fitted to my head. I will never ride my e-bike or snowboard again without a helmet. Helmets save lives.

This helmet is super well-made and beautiful; my daughter squealed in delight when we took it out of the box. It feels incredibly strong and lightweight and the padding inside makes it so comfy for her. I know she’ll use this for years to come and it will keep her precious noggin nice and safe. But, and this is an inconsequential “but,” the hologram lighting decal on it is scratched and cracking right out of the box. I assumed that the designs were flush and all printed together with the color, but the designs are actually decals that have been put on with raised edges. Obviously it’s totally not important in the grand scheme of things, it’s just kind of a bummer to spend a good chunk of money on a new helmet and have it look banged up already. All in all, a fantastic helmet and I just ordered another one for my son!

So I just started skateboarding this week and wanted to get a reputable and safe helmet to protect myself just in case. Per Google and Amazon, the top choices for helmets were this one (Triple Eight) and another one by OutdoorMaster. Although the comment sections for both helmets are plenty they, unfortunately, didn't help me much. I found a measuring tape and measured my head around and at a little bit of an angle per the instructions (57cm around with my hair down). The sizing information stated I would fit right at the beginning of the L/XL helmet size. I was really nervous due to my hair and how other comments stated the helmet fit snug with not much breathing room. Granted helmets should be a bit snug for safety but you also don't want to get headaches. I live in Arizona and it gets HOT here - I need my helmet to move around a little bit since I know I'll be working up a sweat in this. I went ahead and ordered both the OutdoorMaster and Triple Eight helmets - 2 helmets each per brand. I didn't end up going with the OutdoorMaster helmets due to size, comfort, and profile. (I'll post my review of their helmets on their Amazon item page.) Triple Eight helmets are actually worn by well-known skaters - no joke - you can see Tony Hawk wear their helmets on Youtube and other skaters on Instagram. I ordered the L/XL and XL/XXL helmets. With a 57cm measurement, I tried the L/XL first and it was SNUG with NO breathing room. This is the helmet that should have allowed me a 3cm gap with the max in this size being a 60cm head but it was solid. If I wasn't too worried about the heat here and maybe more concerned or falling I might have kept this one but it just didn't feel right. The helmets come with extra thicker padding for the inside if the consumer needs it - I can tell you, my head would not fit in the helmet if I used those. Then I tried on the XL/XXL helmet and it was like night and day! It fit really well, not too loose, and I had room to move my hair around if need be. If I wanted to use the thicker padding later on I would have some room for it if I wanted to use those instead. I am really happy with the XL/XXL size helmet with a 57cm measured head. I highly recommend sizing up in purchasing one of these or buying 2 sizes as I did to test them out yourself. The helmets themselves are sturdy, comfortable, and feel well made. The "sweat" liners are easily removable and can be washed on delicate. I am happy with this purchase and will be recommending Triple Eight to all new riders I know.

This is a very nice quality helmet and comfortable to wear. I feel much better spending the extra few pounds to get one from a reputable well-known brand like Triple8 vs some of the no-name Chinese brands for sale on Amazon. Helmets are not something I feel comfortable trying to save a bit of money on! I didn't look for the Tony Hawk helmet specifically but it was just the cheapest Triple8 helmet on sale. The Sweatsaver material on the inside is nice enough but I wouldn't say it's a game changer or anything. I have the S/M size which fits up to a 57cm head - I have a 57.0cm head and I am right on the max for this helmet with the thin inserts installed (you also get thicker inserts included if you have a smaller head). It is very true to size so if you have a 58cm head this will not fit you - the fit is snug on my 57cm head but not uncomfortable. Would reccomend this helmet - any helmet is better than none at all and this one is very nice.

The old school Stak-hat has been reinvented - WITH FLAIR.. I LOVE IT!! So glad i brought it.. comes with spare foam inserts aswell.. Highly recommend..

Ik heb maat 54 , ben volwassenen en maat S paste perfect. Er zit geen draaiknop aan de achterkant maar is ook niet nodig, door de vulling voor en achter past het perfect. Ik ga gebruiken om te rolschaatsen. Snel geleverd en netjes in een beschermde doos.
