It is definitely for the larger cars, but can make it work otherwise. I tried to put in behind the headrest and while it looks great there, it took up way too much room and ended up putting it in center. The problem is through the strap is not made for that, so I had to improvise. It works great there, but cant put the tissuebox underneath like originally intended. The middle circle helps keep bugs and smells isolated to the inside, as well as being waterproof. There are also light magnets that you can open and help guide it closed. There are pockets on the side and holders for bags on the back. It is very well thought out, and would like to see possibly a slimmer size or one made for the center part of a car. Overall a great large garbage console that I would recommend for the price.

I’m pleasantly surprised with the overall quality of this little rubbish bin, the materials seem to be above par & it does hold liquids in a manner of speaking. I accidentally put a cab of pop in upside down a few times & it didn’t leak thankfully. With a product such as this the problem usually lyes in the stitching in my personal opinion... but that’s not an issue here. All that rambling aside it’s definitely a good purchase again in my humble opinion.!.!.!.

I recently bought all weather floor mats for my car that have red outlines. That led me to decided I needed to upgrade the other accessories to red and black (plus, the old ones were well worn).I do really like this garbage can but the magnetic closing is completely useless. Definitely the magnets are not strong enough. I added some stick-on velcro to keep it shut instead and it works great.I positioned it on the "bump" part of the floor in the back seat and ran the strap around the center console in the front seat. Since it is well-supported on three sides, it keeps it's shape really well. And anyone in the car can reach it.What may not be clear looking at the photos is that the swirl where you put your trash in on top is made of a light-weight foam. We'll see if they hold their shape over time. But it works really well right now and it's not difficult to push through to deposit trash.Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

This is an okay car garbage can. The size is perfect and the hole in the top, without it being wide open is a a big plus. The two main downfalls are with the magnetic closure on the top piece, it isn’t strong enough. It also collapses really easily. I’ll reach to out something in it, and find it’s collapsed flat so I can’t. It needs some sort of structure component to make it stay extended open and ready

The back of my car was getting out of control with trash from 2 young kids... cup holders used as trash bins or trash dropped wherever is convenient. Nothing will save me from cracker crumbs, haha, but they have at least been using the bin for wrappers, etc. I have a small Honda Fit so only a few places where it works well. The best spot is the center console, where everyone in the car can reach it. The provided straps for mounting it are a great length for mounting pretty much anywhere you could imagine. The bin is lined, but I put a small gallon trash bag in mine to make cleanup easier. It’s a great little bin and I’m glad to have it.

I am very satisfied with this car trash container as someone who commutes and ends up eating and drinking in the car. I was sick of my old habit of using plastic shopping bags and being able to see the trash in the bag. This one keeps odors away and makes keeping my car clean so much easier. You do have to strap it in to the passenger seat, but I was able to strap it to the bag (still in reach). I am glad I bought it.

Nice size for the back of a full sized crew cab pickup. I like the cover design. Can Holds alot.Weak magnet so much so you can't feel it grabbing at all when you open the lid. I'll probably fix the lid with either a stronger magnetic or velcro.

I was hesitant at first because I didn’t like how it wasn’t very hard and sturdy but I’m very happy with it! I love the color & it fits like a glove in my car even though I have a little jetta.
