Very Sturdy!
I have a black 2022 Honda Shadow Phantom, and this rack looks great on it!I was putting on some Viking saddlebags on at the same time, so it was a more difficult install than if you are just installing the sissybar/luggage rack alone. Here is the MOST important thing about this rack: It is made of SOLID STEEL! The brackets that hook to the motorcycle, the sissybar, and the luggage rack are all solid steel, and not some flimsy tubing. It is a little heavy, but what do you expect with solid steel?I had read some other reviews that said you have to bend it to get it to fit. Actually, for my motorcycle, I had to put some spacers between the brackets and the fenders. Once they are installed, I slid the sissybar in place first INSIDE the brackets and aligned the holes. That will "bend" the brackets into place. They don't actually bend, they just get spread apart. Then you just align the luggage rack, put in the bolts and nuts and tighten them.Great product and well worth the money! Also, IF you have a 2022 Honda Shadow Phantom like mine, ONLY remove the fender bolts from one side at a time. Take the 2 fender bolts off, put the new bolts through the bracket and then the spacers, then bolt it on. Then do the same for the other side.If you are a dummy like me and do both sides at the same time, the fender falls down and is a pain to get back in place again. So only do one side at a time when installing the brackets.

Will need spacers decent rack
It takes some creative to install had to buy longer bolts and spacers to compensate for width…pad is low grade, but over all a decent deal

Not As universal
Looks good on the bike but didn’t quite bolt on and goHad to take it apart twice because it was so much wider than the bike itselfOverall still nice

Worth the cheaper price tag.
Good: Seems very sturdy. Metal is thick where it should be, and low profile in the areas you'd want most. While most complain about the padding being cheap, it's better than I expected and more comfortable than nothing at all.Bad: required an Allen wrench and normal wrench to put together. Not a big drawback, but required a little digging for the proper tools.DID NOT fit initially. Required a little bit of struggle to get fit properly, having to bend the metal a bit when tightening it to the bike. (Ultimately scratching my back fender a little in the process.) Again, not the end of the world for a product that does exactly what it needs at a fraction of the price.Just be prepared for a bit of frustration if your fender drops while installing.Overall: 4/5Not the best, but well worth the money.

Absolute waste of time
After seeing a Honda Shadow just like mine pictured in the reviews, I was pretty much sold on this thing. I had been looking for a hot minute for a decent sissy bar for my bike. This stupid thing was an absolute nightmare.“Direct fit” for my bike was a damn joke. The brackets did have the bolt holes in the correct place, annnnd that’s about where the direct fit stopped. In order to actually have these fit properly, I needed to machine spacers that were an inch long and I had to find m10x1.25x75mm bolts. Neither of those are an easy task. The installation of the stupid backrest took over two weeks due to all of this. The only reasons I didn’t go through the return process with this setup is becauseA) I tried installing it and I didn’t want Crapazon to claim that I was returning “damaged” goods.B) The matte black finish was an upside due to the black finishes on the bike.I swear, Amazon is losing more and more of my business all the time. They keep selling more and more cheap crap with these little beater companies to make a quick buck and regular people like myself keep getting shafted.

Good for the luggage rack, but horrible back rest.
It fit great on my 2014 victory highball, but the back rest is trash, crappy particleboard that got messed up when I tried to put it on and I kicked it off like the second time I got in the bike.

Please Customer
After following instructions issue fitting to bike. Decided take apart and to work it from the bike first and all went smooth. Didn't use the luggage section as didn't need it.
