The straps are 15" end to end, each end is stiched 2" to grasp the earpiece...

What is the width of the strap at the middle?

A little less than half an inch. FYI: I was not happy with these. Cheaply made, came apart and got all twisted.

These are made of stretchy spandex-like material. These will not float after they get wet, especially if the attached glasses have any weight.

Where are these manufactured

I'm not sure where they are made but I don't use them at all. I wasn't happy with the feeling on my bald head. Those with hair had issues with it pulling hair out when attempting to take them off. Just my opinion.
