Excellent multi-pen. It is light weight (for this type of pen), has a comfortable grip, easy to use controls and isn't very expensive. In .7mm, the ink cartridges write very smoothly and don't smudge. I first tried the .5mm but found them to be scratchy and not as smooth. The ink goes pretty quickly, so I'd recommend ordering refills for the colors you use most, even though this set included extra refills for each color. I could have asked for a larger eraser, but that is a small quibble.

Like many of the people who are willing to pay a bit more money for a quality pen, I have to write this review and say I am IN LOVE with this pen. This has everything I look for in a pen: a little bit of weight for writing, a grip, at least black and red ink, quality feel, AND MOST IMPORANTLY ink that does NOT smear right after writing (left handed problems) AND smooth ink dispensing that doesn't skip/jump. The last aspect is the most important and this Jetstream definitely fits the bill.As a college student studying for med school, I take copious notes-pages upon pages a day. Trust me when I say, this is a pen you will NOT regret buying!

Ok, just received this today. I really like it....I had to come back here and read the info on how to "deploy" the pencil. (hint: you have to slide the pocket holder silver thing a couple of times....clicking it, and the pencil lead will come out.) The pen feels very good in my hand, and writes very smoothly. I had thought that a .07 size pen would write a little bit thicker, but it writes very much like any fine point pen. But it's not a big deal....I bought this to make notes, etc in books I read (different colored notes) and it will work great for that! I'm thinking of ordering another just to have on hand! :)

The pen and ink are better than I imagined they would be- ggod quality good price

I love pens and stationery, and this pen is fantastic. I love having four pen colors and a pencil in one writing utensil. My favorite part is the blue ink, which is a deep, rich blue; pens of lesser quality tend to have a lighter blue ink. This pen has a nice weight and feel in the hand. I have used this every day for several months but have not needed to refill the ink. This is a quality pen--far superior to a similar design from BIC.My sole complaint is that I have not been able to find refills sold as a separate item.

I bought this pen along with the Pilot Frixion and the Pilot Dr. Grip to compare. The Uni-ball Jetstream is my favorite of the three. The Dr. Grip comes close, but Pilot seems to have problems with their green ink. I've always like the Uni-ball black ballpoint, and I found that all colors share the same good qualities in this pen. Like most of the pens in this class, it has a nice heft to it. The color buttons sometimes have a hard time staying down, but that's typical of all of them. I've since moved on to a more expensive Lamy 2000 multi-pen, and I'm using Uni-ball D1 refills in it because I'm trying to duplicate the writing quality of this pen.

Excellent pen. I've used Uniball exclusively for several years- they always write cleanly, smoothly, and effortlessly. This pen takes it to the next level, a 4 in 1 pen PLUS a pencil. An excellent choice for anyone who has to draw, edit, or study. This pen functions well for all purposes.

It hurts me to write this because I love the performance of Jetstream pens. This was one my favorite multi pen. The principal problem with this pen is that the refills dry up prematurely and unexpectedly. I have ordered several refills and it is anyone's guess as to when they will stop working. The performance of the pen is great, but you will have to deal with some skipping and stopping once the refill begins to dry up. I have several multi pens that I think are far better than this.

I always write in a journal, so the quality of the pen is very important to me. Since I write many pages, if the pen has any discomfort while writing. When using a pen, if it requires pressure, it quickly becomes difficult for me. But this pen writes very smoothly. In fact, all jetstream ball pens are equally good, the differences lie in the number of colors the pen contains, some pens have three colors, while others have four colors and also include pencil or not. And the external case color. I had one and ended up ordering five more after losing it. It's truly a life-changing pen.
