I keep these in my pantry at all times. Add some beef broth, beef gravy, some mushrooms and some noodles, you have four days of beef tips and gravy. The beef is fresh tasting and you get a lot in one can. Plus they last for a long time on the shelf. My power went out for four days, this saved me during that time as I still had something good to eat. The turkey is just as good.

Virtually no waste. Use in casseroles, soups, make gravies to pour over rice, potatoes, in stews. Extremely low fat filler. Broth is flavorful and ought to be used in whatever is prepared. OVERPRICED as are the chicken, turkey, and pork they produce.

To be very honest I was expecting an unusual odor, flavor or texture to canned beef but was blown away by how good it truly is. The product is cooked in the can, so the shelf life is outstanding (5+ years) and contains only 2 simple ingredients, meat (beef) and sea salt. That's it. No bizarre long list of preservatives or chemical additives I can't pronounce. Incredible. Upon opening the can, there are three immediate visual things: the meat itself, the natural juices of the beef and the normal and natural fat content. It smells just like Sunday roast dinner. Done to medium rare. We heated it up in a saucepan (smelled amazing) and added some McCormick brown gravy mix from a foil pouch and it was honestly excellent. My wife and I enjoyed this with some jasmine rice and it is truly delicious. I will definitely purchase more of this product and wholeheartedly recommend it to others. I purchased some of the ground beef as well and am excited to try that tomorrow evening. The plan is to add it to homemade spaghetti sauce. Will post a review on that as well. As for us, we will certainly buy more of this to have on hand for quick meals, camping, cold nights and adding to our prepping necessities. I would leave 6 stars if I could.

I can't return this (it is unopened). Shaking the can sounds like the contents are soup. With today's beef prices I don't expect a chunk of beef in a can, but certainly not the watery sound of the can's contents.

Taste just like army C rations meat great with rice or mashed potatoes no, I made a beef stew excellent!!

We didn’t realize that the cans of meat were the small ones. 14.5 ounces of meat. At 39.00 dollars for three little cans. I feel like we got ripped off.
