SlipX Solutions Non Slip Bathtub Stickers, 12 Strip Treads, 7.5X.75, Clear

These simply non-slip stick-on "treads" are perfect for giving you just enough grip in the tub to keep your feet from slipping out from under you. Not too rough on the feet, these seem to hit that "Goldilocks" level of roughness that you need in the shower. Much like painting, preparation is everything. Follow the manufacturer's directions, and you'll be fine. Scrub the tub with something simple, like Bon Ami cleanser. Rinse well, and then dry it off. Wet a paper tower with some rubbing alcohol, and rub the entire area thoroughly. SPECIAL INSTALLATION TIPS: Make sure that no water is still dripping from the faucet or shower head, to avoid the area getting wet. I stuffed paper towels in the water spout, and moved the shower head (on a hose) out of the tub. I laid out some guide lines using blue "painter's tape" to help me lay out my tread pattern more evenly. Most of the treads came off the release paper easily, but two needed some gentle coaxing to remove. They've been in position for a week, and I've even scrubbed them. The treads seem to be holding up nicely. Most importantly, they give just enough roughness to feel secure during a soapy shower. MUCH better than a mat that's hard to clean. It was also nice to see that these are manufactured in the USA. This is a simple product that does exactly what it's supposed to. Very cheap insurance to keep from falling in the tub. Excellent product!

I purchased these a full year ago. I'm the type of person that likes the idea of DIY, but then I find it difficult to start. I don't like to write in a clean journal or begin a project that I might get wrong. I shouldn't have waited so long. I cleaned the tub yesterday and rubbed it down with alcohol as suggested in the instructions and then got to work. It's basically a sticker kit with two sheets of rough surfaced stickers. The instructions are clear and they provide two design templates that you can use. I adapted mine a bit, but found the suggestions helpful. I wasn't satisfied with how I placed one of the stickers so I pulled it up and tried again. It seems just as secure as the rest. I purchased the clear stickers and I'm very satisfied with how it looks. I took a bath today and though I thought it might be uncomfortable, it was just fine. I can't speak to how this will wear over time, but the package has clear instruction on how to reach the manufacturer. That to me means that the manufacturer stands behind their product. It wasn't a big investment so if it needs to be reapplied in a year or two, that would be fine too. It's much nicer than a bath mat which I've always hated because they seem to get dirty and slimy even if removed to dry after every use. I feel much safer now showering. Slipping in the shower is very dangerous so if your shower is as slippery as mine, I suggest you purchase this item too. July 2016 - we've had these in our tub for over six months and they still look clean and nice. I wasn't certain that they would last and am very happy that they have. I just ordered another set for our other bathtub. It makes the tub much safer and I highly recommend them.

Bought these last in 2017 and they held up real well. Good slip retardant and they look good. I applied them on my shower floor in a ray pattern toward the drain. Eventually the adhesive began to break down so I need new ones. Good product.

My children's bathroom had one slippy bathtub! One of the worst that I have ever experienced, so immediate action was needed! After looking through mats and stickers, even the far more expensive ones, these had the best reviews. So, I went with these. Not only was the price unbeatable, I did not want ducks or frogs on a brand new tub! I have had these on my tub for about a month now, I followed the directions and washed the tub, then used a cotton ball to apply alcohol along the bottom, allowed it to dry, and placed the lines in a similar pattern to one shown on the package. They blend seamlessly, you don't see them really at all! They do not attract dirt around them, as i was worried about, they have not come loose one bit and most importantly, they make a huge difference when takings shower- the floor is no longer a slip and slide, yet gentle enough that my toddler has not complained once about feeling them while sitting in the tub!

I expected a bit more durability. After a couple of weeks, a few edges started peeling slightly, even though I cleaned and dried the surface thoroughly before applying them. They also don’t feel quite as grippy as I hoped when the tub is really wet.

This is a basic necessity if you use your tub to take a shower. In my house the tubs have a steeper slant to the floor. I put this nonslip tape on the bottom in a pattern, and it works great. Why take a chance that you might fall while showering. This doesn't cost a lot and is very worth it. I recommend it.

Do NOT purchase these strips! I think I got an older package. Even though I ordered 2 Pkgs of these in 2024. They were kept in a plastic bag and there they stayed because I was diagnosed with cancer. I finally put these on a couple of months ago. I followed the instructions to the letter even clean the shower twice, and then poured the alcohol directly from the bottle and wiped it down that way. I placed them on the shower floor. I even wore my stocking feet to help press them into place gently, but the minute the water hit them they slipped all over the place and blocked my drain!! it took me a minute to process what had happened because it didn’t seem realistic to me. But it happened so now my money as usual down the drain this is the third time I have purchased something from Amazon, either it’s not correct or there’s something wrong with it or something, but it’s beyond the return date so I can’t return it even though I didn’t use it at all before the return date. We’re talking about $70 here right down the drain and I’m on SS with no supplemental income and I can’t afford to be throwing money down the drain. I’m just gonna have to be careful of what I order from Amazon because most of the is from China and I don’t need their garbage! I’ve had too many things from China you spent $40 on one item you use it once it falls apart. And I’m sorry it’s just the truth! You get what you pay for! If it’s cheap labor, the items not gonna be of any quality. Sorry.

After taking a digger in the shower, I decided I needed to do something to get some traction in the tub. I didn't want to use a mat as I heard horror stories about things underneath them and didn't want to take the extra time to clean a mat on top of cleaning the shower. These treads were a cheap and easy solution to my laziness and they work perfectly. They don't stay wet and attract mold/scum like a mat would yet they add much needed friction to the tub floor. I haven't even had a close call since installing them. I've had them in for about 4 months now, no visible wear or fraying of edges. None have started to come up off the floor. I did follow the instructions for installation to the letter (cleaning with rubbing alcohol, etc.) so your results may vary if you don't follow the simple instructions for installation. I'd highly recommend these to anyone who doesn't want to fall on their butt in the shower but also doesn't want a gross, soggy mat getting moldy.

I followed the instructions and waited about 24 hours before using the shower after the strips had been installed. It has been a few months now and they are working great ! They are a great help to keep from slipping in the shower. They are staying down flat, not trying to curl up and lift. They look really good as you can hardly see them. I would recommend these to others. The kids might be disappointed though, no frogs, hippos, or hound dogs. Can ya dig it ?

Arrived when stated and in good condition. Extremely easy to use. Happy to say, it has seen me safely through the monsoons as I had ordered 4 packets and fixed them on my staircase which is exposed to the rain. Normally, the steps are super slippery in the monsoons and I already fell downstairs twice, fortunately, without major injuries, although I must admit I saw a lot of stars (lol). I also placed some strips in the bathing room which was also slippery. Now I can have my bath in safety. The manufacturers claim that this product should be good for at least 3 years - if so - it's value for money. I'm really happy with this product. I must admit it is pretty expensive as I spent over Rs.6,000/- to make my staircase waterproof, but worth it. It's supposed to be transparent but isn't really coz you can see the dirt on it but it is easy to scrub off. I recommend this product with 5 stars.

Very pleased with my item , after spending money on a bath mat which said that it didn't go mouldy was a joke , within 2 weeks I had to throw it away , saw theses ordered them , came before they should have , put them in the bath job done . If you want none slip treads then I would defintaly go for theses , one happy customer who will order again from this seller .

There has been no peeling on any of the strips applied, and the grip is just enough without being irritating to my feet. The transparent colour has not faded or yellowed significantly and looks just like a pattern on the tub. Also cleaned the tub with regular cleaner which removes the slight dirt trapped along the outlines of the strips. Will buy for all my future tubs.
