What size crochet hook would I use for this size yarn?

Recommend 12mm but you can go up to 20mm.

I want to make a crochet baby layette basket , how many bobbins would I need ? Thankyou

I don’t crochet but I just wanted to give info. On my particular pack it states 120m and 700g, but this yarn is fully stretched to it’s maximum, so not as soft, there is no ‘give’. I have purchased balls of this in multi colour packs and it has always been very stretchy and soft, as near to when using home-made cut up t-shirt. It therefor may shrink after being made up and laundered, but may be softer. All to be considered.

Can this be used for weaving

I would imagine that you could..... I knitted a chunky string bag with it.

Could this be used to make a chunky knit blanket ?

It is chunky yarn but it is T-shirt material so doesn't have that wool feel.
