Works fine.
Although this unit does not have the remote device on/off indicator lights, it functions as expected. I would prefer the indicator lights but for my purposes this device meets my needs.

This product delivers the goods. I suggested one improvement idea.
This product works totally as billed, and I'm happy with it.A great feature to add would be a little switch or jumper to flip the ON and OFF positions of the buttons as a group (alternatively, think of this as an ability to reverse the sequence of codes transmitted by the 4 switches from top to bottom -- i.e., ascending or descending).

Great Product! Transmits To LEDs 100 Feet Away
Worked fantastic! I installed it in the garage next to the entry door to the house for convenience. It turns on a couple of outside LED lights on another building. Transmits about 100 feet through a metal garage door and into the other building. Very pleased!

Very reliable powerline interface system
I've used X10 products for more than 40 years and some of the original units are still in service. These 4-button keypad transmitters are really convenient. For whatever reasons, my existing 4-button controllers are a little less reliable than other X10 (and X10 PRO) units. They have an annunciator LED showing which unit code is active which is very helpful, but this style, by Leviton, has been discontinued. The XPT4-W-NS is an adequate substitute and even though my existing ones are beige instead of white, it's not worth the extra $8 each from another site.Even though there have been "better" systems using similar but incompatible technology on the market for some years, I'm still completely satisfied with the X10 PRO series of components.

Keypad stopped working after 2 months of use
I have an old Leviton DHC home automation system. This X10 Pro transmitter and keypad works very well and is highly responsive with a soft touch of the button. No longer need to hurt my fingers to turn the lights on or off.Update:The keypad stopped working after 2 months of use. Turns lights off, but doesn't turn them on. I changed the keypad and it now works.

They work and do the job
This is the newer generation of these transmitters. They function equally as well as the previous model. Unfortunately, the switch faces are a different size than the previous ones so you can't use the previous labels and protective covers to identify the function of the switch. There is so little clearance on the new units that I don't think there is any room to put covers on if they were available. They do work.

Works As Advertised!
Works - I hope they start offering in it off white (ALMOND) to match other units

4 button wall transmitter.
My old 4 button wall transmitter just stopped working, so I got this to replace it. Works fine except for one problem. One of the outlets it controls has a high current relay and its protocol must be somewhat different. Anyway this new controller does not control that outlet, but does work with the other 3. The old 4 button transmitter worked fine with that outlet. Other controllers also still work with that outlet. But this transmitter is basically a 3 button unit for me.
