We absolutely love these glasses. They hold a good amount of whatever you’re drinking and the unique shape makes them easy to hold! They are just a little different while still of a good quality. Not too thick but not flimsy either.

I'm the administrative manager at work and I bought 5 sets of these for our office. I was worried that the design would be a little too "fun" for our conservative employers and their guests, but they are perfect! The design does make them easier to hold, but it's also a subtle look that just gives them a kick of uniqueness. They're very beautiful, classy and sturdy. I dropped one right out of the box and into a drawer and there was not even a chip on it. Then I dropped one glass on top of another one and it held up perfectly fine! They make kind of an echo sound almost like a mix of glass and plastic but you'd never think that by touching or looking at them. Whatever it is just makes them very sturdy. These have maintained a shine every wash. Though I know sometimes it's not the glasses, but the dishwasher itself, that makes glasses get stained/cloudy; I started using Lemi Shine liquid and powder additives which have helped our other glasses too. But these glasses seem like they'd hold up either way. I absolutely love them and want to buy some for my house! They're definitely fun and different - but also gorgeous :)

The unusual look of these glasses gives them a unique appeal, but the design cunningly keeps the top circular, so you don't suffer from the dribble-glass curse of 'those cool glasses I saw in Blade Runner'. They have a nice heavy base to give them stability. They are surprisingly comfortable in the hand, and the proportions are just right for any drink begging for a classic highball glass. Any glassware will eventually be subject to breakage in the rough and tumble of life and celebrations, but I had no hesitation in purchasing another set of these to replace the breakages. Highly recommended.

REALLY cool glasses! There is nothing like them. They are weighted on the bottom, which helps with stability, and very easy to grip. The glass isn't nearly as thick as the Bormioli Muranos, so they probably won't survive a drop, but they are plenty thicker than the very fragile Corelle glasses I used to own, all of which bit the dust pretty quickly. I got two boxes of these Sorgentes from Amazon proper, and one in each box arrived broken, despite being packed reasonably well. The shorter Sorgentes appear to me to be a little thicker, but I don't have them so I can't say for sure. If you're also considering Muranos, I bought those in both sizes, and they are MUCH thicker, heavier glasses. The larger of the Muranos that I got from Amazon's warehouse were packed horribly--some literally clanking directly against each other--but still none arrived broken. Anyway, I plan to use Sorgentes when we have guests, and Muranos for everyday. I love them both. Sure beats what I was looking at in Walmart! BTW, if you look into the bottom of each glass, you see a pretty star, and a "Bormioli Rocco" etching. Adds to the classy factor.

These are the best cups ever! I bought them because our daughter kept breaking our other ones. They are a more pricey than store bought boxes, but if they last longer- really you get your money's worth. So far they have. I think they are horribly ugly- but I bought this shape because they are easier to HOLD ON TO. And they really are! For an adult as well as for small 4 year old child. Also- they fit in the dishwasher fine (We've had wide mouth cups before that were a pain because they didn't fit in their "row", so you could fit less in your dishwasher- these are just fine). I would definitely recommend these!

My previous set of glasses had become permanently spotty. Thank you hard water towns. They were great glasses, but not particularly interesting and look like ones that about a billion other people and restaurants use. Sadly, stores don't generally carry a wide selection of drinking glasses to choose from. I was looking for glasses that were sturdy, on the larger end of the spectrum, and had a good grip. While I fell in love with another set, the reviews led me to believe that they did not fall into the sturdy category. Much sadness. When I saw these glasses however, most of my sadness dissipated. These glasses look fabulous both online and in-person. Very unique design which also happen to provide a great grip. They feel solid and hold just the right amount of the beverage of your choice. A few items of note: they do not seem to dry well in my dishwasher. Doesn't matter how long I let them sit in there, they always come out drippy. So just dry them by hand with a towel, right? Well drying them with a towel isn't so easy because of the design. Even with small hands, I can't get my hand in with the towel to dry the cracks and crevices. If one stuffs the towel in by itself, it does reach all areas because of the design. Next, I did receive a glass with a flaw in the glass. However I didn't want to spend the time and energy sending it back for one glass. I can live without the one. I bought a total of four sets and there was no breakage with only the one glass with the flaw. Through normal everyday use for several months, there has been no chipping or breakage. Very pleased and would definitely order again if needed.

Beautiful glasses - easy to hold.

I’ve had these cups for 9 years. Not a typo! At least one is used daily, we wash in the dishwasher. None have broken, have held up well. Love them. Just looked them up in my order history to see if the manufacturer makes even larger sizes.

The glasses have come to me broken and I am supposed to pay $33 to return them!?!?!

Three of these glasses were great when they arrived. One was broken. There wasn't enough bubble wrap to keep them secure in shipping. Update: No response from seller when looking to address the broken glass.
