Great for what it is. This is NOT a piece of HiFi, but if all you need is a decent-sounding, lightweight, and durable speaker to play some background music at an event or at the park/ beach. This is really good. The build quality is solid. Anker has a good reputation for making high-quality products that don't drain your wallet. The battery life is respectable, and the sound quality is better than most in this price range. This would be great on hikes or camping trips. I am quite pleased with this purchase.

Good sound, long-lasting battery

I blast all my music on this thing. Seriously, I listen to all kinds of music and this one speaker for 30 bucks cant be beat. Screw your useless 10 or 20 dollar speakers, spend the extra money, get this speaker. Its loud, high quality, and plays my kendrick perfectly perfect. Best speaker in the game at this price for sure

So caveat, only been using this a few hours at home, but here are some initial things: - Connection was easy after moving it more than 6" from my phone (Pixel 3). - Quite loud. - Sound is fine, though nothing crazy. I'm definitely not an audiophile, but the bass was definitely a bit tinny. But not like painful to listen to or anything. Adele sounded good, some psytrance less good. The hip hop mix I have and the metal mixes were definitely bass lacking, but will be fine for everyday casual listening. Super subjective there without any gear or an ear for it though. - Using my 2.4GHz network, there was some stuttering, probably due to interference from the Bluetooth because it went away when my phone connected to my 5GHz network. - Connection was good to about 30 feet through 4 walls (across three rooms), and then it started breaking up. Putting myself between the phone and the speaker completely broke the connection though, so wouldn't recommend that distance. - No jump 15 seconds ahead or back button, which I didn't even think would be an issue until I was listening to a podcast and realized I had missed something that was said. The was surprisingly annoying. - No battery life indicator. - MicroUSB charging only. I'll update if something else becomes notable. Update (roughly 1 month): - The battery life and the jump-15s things are actually more annoying that I thought, but it's obviously workaround-able. - Cannot change the volume from my computer (a Dell with Win10 v. 22H2), but can from my phone (Pixel3) - Holding it is surprisingly inconvenient. You end up either grabbing the buttons on top, or the grill on the front. - I like the sleek black color, but (a) I actually manage to lose it sometimes it my apartment because it's so unobtrusive, and (b) the front and back look extremely similar, so it can be hard to see immediately which side is facing you.

I love it!!! It's loud, it's waterproof, it's a great portable size without sacrificing sound quality. That's exactly what I needed

Bought this to use in the kitchen when working in there. Sounds good, decent price and it connects easily enough to my iPhone.

This speaker is compact and works well overall. But, if for any reason you intend to use the aux input jack, you need to know that it has certain latency problems. This shouldn’t matter if you are casually listening to music. However, if you were going to connect some sort of musical instrument (a synth, drum machine, sampler, or use it with a virtual instrument on your phone or ipad), you will notice this latency (the time it takes for the signal from your source device to come out of the speaker as sound), makes it unbearable. Unfortunately that was precisely my main use case for this speaker. Now, some forums on the web acknowledge this issue and recommend a firmware update from 2019. The firmware unfortunately cannot be downloaded from the official SoundCore site, You will need to get it from some third-party source. Even if you get it, the software to apply the update won’t work well (tried on both Mac and PC). In summary, it’s a waste of time. I will keep using this as a regular bluetooth speaker. However, can’t give it a good review since it didn’t serve the original purpose I bought it for.

Brilliant, battery lasts ages, sound quality really good with nice bass, for the size and price, this Anker portable Bluetooth speaker is a great choice.

I love this little speaker. The sound not comparable to a big system obviously, but it's well built and has been on camping trips and sound very decent for such a small speaker.
